I’ve never had such a friendly customer service. The manager, Robert, was amazing. He told me loves his job and it shows. The food came out quickly, and was great for the diner fare that it is. I love the extra touch of the happy face ketchup bowls! Will definitely come back if I find myself in the area again.

My family tried to go to get dinner here at 6:30 PM. Just as we pulled into the parking lot the outside lights shut off, but the inside was still filled with patrons, so we entered anyway thinking maybe it was a malfunction. We were turned away being told they had just closed. The hours posted at the door said there were special hours on MONDAY and they would be closing at 7, but nothing stated for Sunday, just normal business hours saying they were open until 9. This is the THIRD time we have been turned away long before the stated closing time.
First I am very disappointing that correct hours are not displayed. Second if you are going to start turning customers away an hour, or even 30 minutes before «closing time» perhaps you should state that on the front window. If you close at 9 you should take your last customers up until 9pm.
If you want a quick dinner make sure you’ve got plenty of time before they are supposed to close or you may be out of luck. The food is great, but the service at night sucks and we won’t be going back.

The two ladies working were wonderful — unfortunately, I forgot their names. Great service!

The food was excellent. Everything was prepared exactly as we ordered. We had the most wonderful and friendly server, Nancy. She gave us a side of fried jalapeños and shared some personal recipes

I’m very torn on how to appropriately score this place.
First, the good:

Now the bad and gross:
The place needs a once-​over with a power washer. It’s filthy. The floors are so sticky, it brought me back to the days of my local, skeevy college bar that was probably cleaned more often than this location.
The menus are sticky.
The tables are sticky.
The chairs are sticky.
Every single employee’s apron was disgustingly dirty. Like, I’m pretty sure that most participants in the World Famous Mud Run finish the race with cleaner clothes than the aprons this staff is rocking.
When we patronize this place, we typically sit outside on the patio, because it seems cleaner to deal with bird poo, than whatever is growing and lurking on the surfaces inside.

This place has really stepped up their quality of the food. Still a bit dirty and the AC never seems to work but the food is pretty good! Customer service has improved as well. I highly recommend the Irish? Burger, chicken salad sandwich, chili cheese fries, and crispy chicken salad! And you can never go wrong with the shakes!

Amazing food. Breakfast was great and I love how the tea comes from next door at the coffee bean. French toast was amazing. A lot of food for the price. The only reason I put 4 stars is because the waitress had friend/​family and then didn’t pay attention to us. We waited for our check for awhile and to get a box. But other than that it’s pretty good.

Wait time is horrendous for overpriced, gimmick food. Head east on Vandergrift Blvd and keep going.

The milkshakes here are great. I usually get an oreo shake, & they do a great job at making it.

Went here with the family and I must say the food was great! Milkshake was amazing, everyone loved it. My only complaint is it did seem understaffed. Our server was great but you can tell she was stretched out. Overall great and will be back.

Sat and waited at the counter for awhile and no one came to even put my drink order in .The manager was sitting a few seats down and was more interested with his labtop and talking to the cooking staff. I couldnt believe it. I got up and walked out and the staff could care less. I will never go back again. The bathroom was also very dirty.

This place is amazing and I’m definitely going to have to be careful by eating here with moderation. I went here and ordered the Houston burger with extra jalapeños and some bacon! The extra sauce that they add onto it is amazing and don’t y’all Unilocaler’s get me started on those shakes because I’ll be on this all day trying to describe the taste, feelings, and euphoria I felt just dabbling into the pure cradle of ambrosial… Let me stop. Haha this place is great whether it be for a small snack or a large meal. I have yet to be disappointed with my meal and service is very nice as well. The reason that I can’t give this place 5 stars is because steak isn’t on the menu haha just kidding it’s because the place could be cleaned up and also some of the furniture has rips or tears in it. Mainly because people (Not the restaurant) don’t take care of or give a care about the restaurant. Other than that it’s a good eat out for any occasion except romantic. BOO-​YAH!!!

Called in a to-​go order on a Sunday night was ready within 10 minutes, staff was great food was amazing highly recommend going in. The cook and the young lady working were both very helpful with getting what I need since I was staying at the hotel across the street. Everything was just perfect.

We just had shakes and appetizers, but the shakes are delicious! They’re made with real ice cream. The fries & onion rings were really good too, hot & crispy, though the chili cheese fries were a bit greasy.

Such a delicious sandwich. The bbq chicken melt really melts in your mouth. Then the chocolate banana shake!!! Yummy. The only downside is the didn’t give us menus And we had to find our own. But the food was great anyways. Will return.

My husband and I love this place! Sometimes the service is slow but it’s always worth the wait. The burgers are amazing!!! Haven’t found any place yet that has a better burger!

I stop in here pretty often and service has always been great! The food and drinks are a little bit pricey compared to other burger places but at least it gives the base something different from time to time. The décor is that old 50’s diner look and they keep with the tradition in their clothing. I like that this location is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My food has always been served fresh and hot and the wait tends to be around 10 – 15 minutes.

The staff is so nice and friendly and the food was so good, hot and fresh! but the banana shakes are the best!

Not as good, since my last visit approximately 6 months ago. Cleanliness gets an F. Looked like a previous customer sneezed part of their sandwich on the wall; condiment containers were covered in smeared foodish… something; floor was filthy. My waiters uniform was so filthy, it included 2 weeks worth of perspiration around the band and his shirt looked like the last table he bussed. I’m glad you’re working hard but try not wear it. The food was just ok. I’m guessing there is different management as things have gone downhill. This restaurant is located on a Marine base… cleanliness and uniform appearance is important to everyone around them. Management needs to pull their head out.
