Jerry’s Service & Occidental Towing

Occidental Towing company should be called «Accidental Towing Company». If you want you trailer to be damage. They damage my trailer by towing it home and they arrange for a mobile mechanic to fix it. Great but now when it’s fixed 6 weeks later they will only pay not even half the damage. I don’t know how they get rave review, specially when Jerry is extremely shady. It’s time to contact a lawyer.

i needed my car towed the full AAA limit of 100 miles from Sebastopol. All of the towing companies in the area declined the request. Fortunately Occidental came through. Bobby was very helpful and was on site very quickly. Moreover, the dispatched updated me regarding his arrival time. Highly recommend this company!

Incredibly rude and selfish driver! Avoid this business!

When another company failed miserably, AAA scrambled to find any contract company to come to my house to get my car. They were denied by companies within 10 miles of my home because technically I am in a different territory, though closer to them than the ridiculous company originally dispatched (ABC TOWING dba ALL CITY TOWING, Healdsburg).
Occidental Towing is at least five times the distance than the others, yet they accepted the job. The driver must have left right after I hung up because he arrived in about half an hour. Incredibly polite and professional, and most importantly, dependable.

It was dusk at the end of this past Labor Day weekend when my car started losing power and the Check Engine light came on at the edge of Freestone. I called AAA, and Terry Hansen from Jerry’s Service & Occidental Towing came to my rescue. He arrived within the proposed time and was very friendly, courteous, and professional. He made sure that I was safe inside the cab, while he maneuvered my car onto and off of the carrier. He delivered me and my car all the way to San Jose and I was grateful for the rescue, the comfortable ride, and the pleasant conversation on the long trip. Thanks, Terry, and thank you, Jerry’s Service and Occidental Towing!!! You’re the best and I’m telling all of my river friends about you!

When my car broke near Salt Point, they came out and towed us to Jenner. The tow driver was very friendly and knowledgable. A mechanic came out to Jenner to look at it that night. They brought my car in and fixed it the next day for a standard price. Good service!

Bobby from Occidental towing was a great help when I locked my keys in my car after a evening jog. Not only was he reassuring of their excellent service he provided the road side service number for my insurance company so I was able to take advantage of my insurance benefits. Thanks so much.

My heartfelt Thank You to Terry Hanson for the help getting my new Westie from the dark of night in Guerneville. Terry was direct and went the extra mile to climb under the Bus and use bailing wire to hold up the transmission, and Move The Bus. When arriving at our home he really showed his talent getting it off the trailer and through a narrow gate to it’s safe resting spot.
This is not the first time Occidental Towing has shown me what capable, friendly service the they provide, from the first call to Kim to the excellent work Terry did.

My vehicle got stranded way up the Sonoma Coast this evening. But I got a tow from a great guy driving the Occidental Towing truck. He was very patient, curteous, and professional. This was a long tow through some curvey roads in the rain. But the driver, Terry, was relaxed and handled the adverse conditions like a pro. Very friendly and competent, highly recommended.

When my car was broken down in Sonoma County, this towing service was the only one which agreed to come and pick me up and take me back to Lake County!
Despite the fact that my auto club spent two hours calling one towing company after the other, all of which refused due to the distance, Jerry’s came to my rescue!

I had to deal with a totally rude, condescending, driver from Occidental Towing. On Sunday April 1 at about 3:46 pm, I called for emergency repair service that I carry with my insurance company. The insurance company were quite polite and dispatched a driver to change my flat tire as I did not have any tools in car. The driver showed up about 45 minutes later as I was told. He did take care of changing the tire, no problem. The problem was his RUDE, SNIPPITY, CONDESCENDING attitude and remarks. He got out of his car, started bitching at me to get in the car, even though the car and myself were well off the road (I had gotten out on the passenger side). I immediately did get in the car, gave him my insurance info, and was quite polite to him. After he replaced my tire with the temporary (donut type) tire, he came up to the passenger side door and said «LOOK AT ME SIR! DON’T DRIVE OVER 50 MILES AN HOUR WITH THIS TEMP TIRE!»
(As if I did not know that already-​I most certainly did). His tone of voice was totally CONDESCENDING and RUDE. Can you imagine someone starting a conversation with you by saying «LOOK AT ME!» It is the way someone would talk to a misbehaving 5 year old. He was acting more like mean unprofessional bar room bouncer who never quite had the people skills to get hired by a professional security agency. The company does have other good reviews. I hope they can get rid of this bad apple and send him of to some bouncer job where his mean attitude might be desired.

These guys have saved my bacon on a number of occasions. They’re always fast and friendly, reasonable too.

Steve from Occidental was kind enough to come in on his day off to help get us home to SF. Many thanks to him and the friendly staff at Occidental Towing.

Bob Yost and the entire staff at Occidental tow are awesome!!! Professional… friendly…efficient…what more can you ask for?
