I went there for the fish fry. Very cheap. For six something you get three piece cod, fries and slaw. The fish was very good (homemade) but the fries were or-​ida like. I actually didn’t have the slaw. I didn’t realize you needed to go to the salad bar and get it (salad bar was extra). The beer selection is non-​existent. They had Blue Moon on tap though.
Eagle’s Nest has a small motel on a small flowage offering a variety of outdoor activities — hiking, ATV, canoeing, etc. The bar/​grill area offers breakfast in season and has a vintage bar/​coffee area. A very local crowd.
I would have rated two stars but the fish was very good. I thought the fish fry experience would have been better. Probably would go back to try breakfast taking a leisurely UTV ride.
