The food was amazing, the chef did a great job, but the service could have been a little faster considering we were the only ones there. Overall, great place. Great for takeout too! Best thai tea!

Ordered the pad Thai and found a finger nail in my food. So grossed out, do I need to say more?

We came in for a late dinner Tuesday after work, with a strong craving for Pad Thai. The restaurant itself is clean, well decorated and comfortable. Plenty of seating(both table and booth) available. The service was fast, and friendly and the Pad Thai didn’t disappoint. We shared the beef skewers and golden cups for an appetizer and ordered our Pad Thai with extra shrimp. The peanut sauce for the appetizers was TASTY(I mean really tasty). I’ve been here a few times before, but this is my first review of the place and I just feel like everyone needs to know how delicious this little spot is! Try it for yourselves!

This restaurant is not for people who have self respect. When we entered there was not even a fly inside restaurant. Restaurant door has bells and they make pleasant sound when it is opened. After that sound also no one showed up for almost 5 minutes then finally one women comes and stares at us without asking anything then I said dine in for 2 people after that she turned her face, went inside took silverware and menu then kept them on a corner table and left. She dint speak even a single word but kept starring and gave weird expression. Her expression looked like we are inside her home and snatching her food. It was total turnoff for us and we just came out without eating. This restaurant should learn how to treat their customers or shut their restaurant down if they don’t like any customers to enter inside.

Every time we come here we never leave disappointed. My kids love the pad Thai, I usually get the pumpkin or eggplant basil, my husband loves the silver noodle, and we especially enjoy both the brown rice and the Thai fried rice! You won’t be disappointed too!

Thai basil has the best thai food I’ve had in the sacramento area. The green curry is outstanding it has great spice, the spicy eggplant is sooo good. The restaurant is very quaint, and the service is fast. I definatly recommend thai basil

Worst thai food ever… don’t remember ever been this disappointed. Even thai iced tea was not that great. My daughter usually drinks the whole glass, while she had a sip n said she did not like it. Chicken fried rice had a a very strong chicken smell. Pad thai noodles were a thin noodles instead of thick pad thai noodles that one get at Thai restaurant. I have been to other Thai basil franchise and food is not anything like this place. Never coming back. Expensive n tasteless. …

Kind of hard to find but once you do, the rest is great. Had the chicken with red curry sauce(spicy)…loved it!!! Quality pieces of chicken in an excellent curry sauce. Service was outstanding… kept the water glasses full. 2 lunches(salad/rice incl) for $ 18.75…WILL be going back!!!

Went here with my mom for my birthday lunch. I had the pad thai. So amazingly good. My mom has never had thai food before and she loved it. I would recommend this lovely little place to anyone who loves thai food or hasn’t ever even tried it. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was great. I’ll definitely be going here again soon!

Nothing like the authentic thing it could be. I like the one in edh more and there more friendly. Stay away from the peanut dishes. I really did like the desert though.

Pretty good curry. Idk about 14 dollar pumpkin curry on the specials list though. And a charge for white rice? It costs like 10 bucks for a bag that lasts 5 years. Either way… The lunch specials are legit and it’s GOOD food not GREAT. Biggest pet peave: we always get to go orders and noticed there are NEVER any prawns in the curries… Not sure if we have an old menu or they are just jipping us. I’ll have to inquire about it and update this review later.

Just realized this is the same as the midtown restaurant! So excited! Had take out last night that was great! I am having the left over green curry this morning for breakfast:) great food. Go there & help them stay in business in Cameron park! Probably one of the best restaurants in the area.

Food very good and portions quite adequate. Perhaps a bad day for hospitality earlier this week. Friend and I arrived at about 1pm. Other than one booth occupied by two people that appeared to be employees, we were the only customers. The server wanted to seat us at a table, and my friend asked if we could be seated at one of the available booths. Uh-oh! Wrong thing to ask, apparently. Rude look from the server, and when she walked us over to the booth she banged the menus on the table and was standing in a certain position that made it difficult for me to get around her to sit down. Perhaps she heard us muttering, or saw the looks on our faces. Or perhaps one of the other employees brought it to her attention. After that, she was pleasant and gave great service. I would return for the food. I will watch for another display of attitude from an outlandish request such as a different seating location!

I was not impressed with this place. Nothing to indicate a real standout restaurant by any means. This restaurant is located in the back of a pretty cool looking shopping center which is slightly difficult to find. The inside is of standard décor with one or two larger tables in the middle and many booths around the edge of the restaurant. For a late lunch(1:30PM) on a Friday, there were no other patrons the entire time we dined. We ordered the salad rolls for appetizer which is shrimp and veggies in a rice noodle wrapper with a garlic/fish sauce. The sauce was great and the roll was pretty good too. My wife had the Pad Thai with extra vegetables. The extra vegetables were great.(they charged $ 1.50 extra for this but included a generous amount of vegetables) but I don’t like when Pad Thai seems to have soy sauce in it. This had a mild flavor of soy sauce which really does not go well with me. I ordered the R2 which was basically a red curry dish Thai hot. It was not Thai hot but it was pretty spicy which I liked. However, the flavor was just kind of off and didn’t really have that mix of spicy and sweet that Thai food is known for. Service was acceptable and the prices were reasonable. If you live in the area and you have to have some Thai food, I guess this is OK. I will not be drivingo from Sacrament to eat here though.

Too bad this place is so far away from home. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t find it… Keep on searching! It is hidden in the back of the mall. You’ll be rewarded with great Thai food!

Decent food, ambiance is a little lacking, and the service wasn’t stellar, but I can’t really complain since their aren’t many options up this way.

Fantastic food! I had the Yellow Chicken Curry and as someone who orders that same thing at all of the many Thai places I’ve ate at, it was the best I’ve ever had. Crab Rangoon… oh so good as well :) My mom ordered F7(green beans, beef, red curry, etc.) and as someone who is not a fan of any curry she loved it. AND… the price is right! Take some friends for lunch or have a quite dinner with your love, no matter what the circumstances, you will not be disappointed.
