Lessard Builders understands the needs of consumers. Since the 1940’s Lessard Builders has built homes for more than 7,000 families and helped them avoid common frustrations that can often occur when building their dream home. We have spent many years streamlining our process to help our clients make choices quickly and easily by giving them tailored information. Our company has built beautiful custom homes in many of Delaware’s most exclusive neighborhoods including Wild Quail, King’s Creek and Pennwood. We have also had the privilege of constructing several high profile commercial projects including Saint Thomas More Academy in Magnolia.

History

Established in 1940.

Lessard Builders is a family owned building company which has been building homes for 50 years. We build custom homes and as such have constant contact with our homeowners. Throughout the building process we meet with our homeowners to assure their input in creating their dream home. We understand the importance of referral advertising and are proud to say that we have built for multiple members and generations of families. Our homes are built with quality products which are designed to last. As Brian joined his father, Adelard, Lessard Builders is proud to announce that another generation has joined the family business ensuring the continuation of the company. Three of Brian’s children are learning varied aspects of Lessard Builders.

Business Owner

Brian Lessard has been the owner of Lessard Builders since 1991. Brian began building with his father Adelard at Addie Lessard and Son in 1978 when the company relocated to Delaware. At the beginning, he and his father built a house from the frame to the finish. His practical on the job experience afforded him the expertise needed to know quality work. As time went on, their reputation for quality spread and they had more work than they themselves could handle. They hired reputable subcontractors for some of the trades, always maintaining a critical eye on quality. Brian is readily available to homeowners and subcontractors alike assuring that the building process is seamless.
