Great lunch spot. Walk your way down the cafeteria line à la Subway, but with much better options. Ride bowl with artichoke spinach hummus, mushrooms and lots of veggies was delicious. Wrap with red pepper hummus and falafel was good too, and not small. The pita for it was a tad on the dry side, though. Price was a bit high for lunch, but fair for what you’re getting.

Holy cow. This place is amazing. A whole lunch place centered around hummus? CENTEREDAROUNDHUMMUS? I’m a hummus partisan. Sign me up! Basically you get a bowl with hummus and throw stuff on top of it. Is this a thing? It’s a thing. And it’s great. Everyone behind the counter is always super happy to be there. It’s great to walk in after a stressful morning. The ordering system takes a bit to figure out the first time, but it’s really no biggie. The only real downside? The hummus is just so so. I mean… it’s in the name, isn’t it? It’s no Rami’s in Coolidge Corner or Falafel Corner in Harvard Square. It’s hummus, so it’s good. But hopefully this is something they’ll up their game on as they improve.

Awesome lunch close to my hotel in Cambridge. Affordable, healthy, and delicious. You can’t go wrong here. Local sodas and compostable everything make this spot even more appealing.

If you’re looking for good, healthy food while at the galleria mall, skip the food court and go to Tahaza. It’s about a minute walk from the food court exit and it’s so worth it. All of the ingredients are really fresh. I got the rice bowl with beet hummus and it was to die for! They make their hummus in house and you can tell it’s really fresh. I added the lamb with chickpeas, which was pretty good. The lamb was really tender. I just wish I had more of it in my bowl. I only got like 3 – 4 small pieces of lamb. I topped it off with tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, olives, pickled beets, crunchy quinoa, and spicy harissa sauce. The feta was really fresh. I’m not sure if they make it in house or not but it sure tasted like it! I wish I skipped the crunchy quinoa, some of the grains were hard and inedible so I had to spit out a few. I also wish I didn’t get the spicy harissa sauce, it tasted a little bitter… But that definitely didn’t stop me from finishing my bowl! Next time I come back, I want to try the sriracha tahini sauce instead. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. It’s a really nice alternative to the mall fast food.

Ate here for the first time and I got the hummus bowl. Really enjoyed it! Everything taste fresh and the customer service is fast and friendly. But be careful when ordering. The price of what you order adds up fast. Let me explain, the hummus bowl itself cost $ 9.25. You choose the hummus, then the protein, chicken is no extra charge. But if you add beef or lamb that’s an additional $ 2.5, then you pick unlimited toppings, then you get a choice of pita bread/pita chips/or carrots. Neither of these 3 is filling. I got both pita bread and pita chips. In my opinion the chips isn’t worth it, there’s only about 6 chips in the bag. Extra will cost additional $ 1. Then drinks cost $ 3… If you add everything up, you’ll be looking to pay anywhere from $ 10-$ 17. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t so expensive :(

great lunch spot. absolutely fantastic customer service. I ordered a couple salad bowls through their super easy online ordering tool, but when they arrived I realized my order was wrong. I called the location, explained the situation, and through our conversation, I realized that I’d actually input my order wrong. Despite it being my error, he remade the 2 salads, redelivered them, and sent coupons along with it. Unbelievable customer service experience!

Recently, my go-to lunch place in Cambridge. You can either go for a wrap or a hummus bowl. The hummus bowl comes either with extra hummus, salad(you choice of greens), or grains. In addition, you can add unlimited toppings and sauces, protein, and get a side of pita chips or bread. Seasonal toppings are fresh and really yummy. I always go for roasted garlic and cabbage salad. Protein choices are chicken, beef, chickpeas, mushrooms, or falafel. All of them are good. I like chicken the most. Stuff is nice and friendly. This is a great alternative for your usual salad lunch. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

Definitely a fan. I really love this style of food. I ordered a hummus bowl with the cilantro/jalapeño hummus, with a random mashup of toppings(pickled beets! yum), and two sauces — yogurt and harissa. I seriously can’t get enough of harissa-spiced foods so I was psyched. Falafel was okay(it’s baked so the consistency will definitely be different) but looking forward to trying the mushroom medley and lamb as well. I’m glad to find casual food that is veggie-centric, fresh and wholesome. Would love to see more spots like Tahaza and Piperi in Boston.

Outstanding! Today was my first visit and I can’t wait to recommend it to my Boston friends. The guy making our lunch gave us the run down and was patient while we decided on all the delicious toppings. Our meals were fresh and filling!

I ordered lunch online here today and drove past with some coworkers to pick up our order. Fast, friendly, and delicious! The interior was really clean and pretty. I got the hummus bowl with falafel and traditional ingredients. I would have loved some crunchy romaine in there, too, but it wasn’t an option on the online ordering. The veggies were flavorful and fresh and bright. The cumin carrots were awesome! The falafel was green and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside the way it’s meant to be. I tried the chicken on the salad the second time around and found the chicken a little rich for my salad, but I’m sure it would be perfect in a wrap or grain bowl. I loved the salad. My coworkers got the wrap and enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be back! The line was long, so I’m glad we ordered online and really appreciate that option!

Fast casual food: you pick a base, pick a hummus, choose a protein and choose your toppings. Hummus is delicious, and there’s a great variety of toppings. I ate there for lunch; entrée is $ 8 – 12, depending if you get more expensive meats. Plenty of tables, large windows, and very clean.

LOVE: The flavors, simple menu, freshness, polite staff, modern atmosphere, soda selection :) Like: The price, spice, and packaging Don’t like: Portions– my hummus bowl was about half the size that I think it should have been

This is, hands down, the best new lunch place in the Kendall Square /Lechmere area. It’s a great healthy option in the sea of food courts and sandwich shops. Glad to see it doing so well! They just added a new hummus flavor: cilantro jalapeño — definitely my favorite! Go for the salad bowl w/falafel and all the toppings you can fit! :)

Fresh and flavorful. This new and sleek casual restaurant just a small walk from the Cambridgeside Galleria mall(in Cambridge) brings a unique spin on the always convenient«bowl» meal. These Mediterranean bowls are packed with zesty seasonings, crisp vegetables, and tender proteins. Chose a hummus bowl, grain bowl, salad bowl, or a wrap — recommend the hummus bowl for the maximum amount of tasty hummus. Pick one of around four hummus dips, including roasted red pepper, beet, and original with a drizzle of olive oil. Take your protein — chicken, beef, lamb, mushrooms, or falafel — atop your hummus and enjoy with a wide array of vegetables and sauces. The combination options are nearly endless! Comes with pita, pita chips, or carrot slices. One tasty creation — original hummus bowl with plump grape tomatoes, crunchy cucumber, cumin pickled carrots, pitted briny black olives, and spicy harissa sauce. Recommend getting the sauce on the side to sample the flavors individually.

Move over Acai bowl obsession. Tahaza just took over. These are delicious, Fresh ingredients, not an overload of hummus(as I thought it would be) with great flavor. Clearly very recently made. I was impressed by how all the pickled flavors worked together with cumin and yogurt mint dressing. At tahaza or ordering online, you pick your base(hummus, grain, salad) I chose salad, then pick any veggie you want and as many, and from there your protein. I enjoyed that the salad bowl was mostly the veggies I added instead of a heaping bowl of lettuce. Although I must admit, my favorite part was the pita bread at the end of my salad scraping all the leftover hummus. Further, the women at the register was wonderful and very nice. Asking if I wanted any additional sauces for my falafel side free of charge. I did miss the butternut squash that is supposed to come with the picked beets which I think would have definitely enhanced the bowl. But it was great nonetheless

This is such a fantastic option for his area! I’ve had the hummus and grain bowls and everything about them is delicious. The only thing to look out for is the price; a bowl runs between $ 9 – 10 without any extra options.

This place is amazing!!! The food concept is more like Chipotle just with Middle Eastern-like food but more focus on the homemade hummus. I tried this eatery out yesterday and got a salad bowl. I asked to try the different hummuses because there were three choices and I was curious! The workers there were so friendly and helpful. I got my salad with the red pepper hummus but I am definitely going back this week to try the beet hummus. There are such a variety of toppings to add to your bowl– all of which are fresh and healthy! I was also really happy with the quantities I was given.

Hummus… oh the hummus. This is the best I’ve ever had. It’s got a lovely, whipped consistency that I’m still daydreaming about the next day. It’s no wonder this place is based around the wonderful garbanzo bean. God bless a chickpea. The space has that new, clean feel but is very welcoming. It’s very open with a lot of natural light. There are plenty of tables too. The concept is cool, like a Mediterranean style Chipotle. You start by choosing a bowl, salad, or wrap, then you pick a hummus to fill it with, then a protein(including falafel!), and finally load up with as many toppings as you want. Options include olives, quinoa, pickled veggies, feta, tomatoes, carrots, cumbers… the list goes on. They also have a bunch of homemade sauces that vary from sweet to savory to spicy. You also get a side of warm pita bread, pita chips, falafel chips, or carrot sticks. All of that will set you back around $ 9.50−12, depending if you add extra meat/falafel. Worth it. I had: a salad with their signature hummus, shredded chicken, feta, olives, slivered almonds, tomatoes, cucumber, pickled carrots, and pickled turnips with a lemon vinaigrette. I also tried the spicy harissa — also delicious, especially with the warm pita bread. Everything was really fresh.

Overall my friends and I had a great experience at Tahaza. The concept is that of a build-your-own meal, like a Mediterranean Chipotle. Pick your base(pita, bowl, salad), pick your hummus(I had the spring pea and it was great), add your ‘meat’(falafel, mushrooms, chicken, etc.), add your toppings(all the veggie options you can imagine), and add a sauce(the sriracha tahini was yummy). I had a blood orange hibiscus tea which was stellar. The portions were good and I was stuffed by the end of the meal. However, some of the ingredients were too salty for my taste, and the falafels were rock hard. I couldn’t even eat them, but I could probably use them as a weapon for self defense if needed. Since this is only the restaurant’s second day open, I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they will work this kink out. The space is airy and minimal, with nice details like the teal painted legs on the wood chairs and the hand-written menu boards. It’s adjacent to the Cambridge Galleria and the park space around the canal, so grab a bowl, sit on the grass, and enjoy the upcoming fall weather!
