Awesome surgeon. Knowledgable. I always have to wait longer than my appointment though, not her fault! Her office staff is patient and always calls in advance if there is a scheduling conflict or last minute change. She takes all necessary precautions to prevent further illness/​relapse in patients!

Was sent to see Dr. Pories after a dx of breast cancer. Dr. Pories was referred to me to be my surgeon. She has dual positions at both Mt Auburn and Beth Israel Deaconess. I chose to stay at MAH because I didn’t want to deal with the traffic at Longwood.
Her office staff is amazing, they scheuduled all of my appointments with my Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist and pre-​op so that they could be on the same day.
Dr. Pories is an amazing surgeon and since this is all she does, she is prepared to deal with anything unusual that might come up.
Scars were minimal. Follow up appointments punctual.
Nurses, Anesthesiologists and Nurse anesthetists in day surgery were also amazing and very reassuring.
If you get a chance buy her book about medicine. Alot of pre-​med students read it to see if it their career path forward.
