I used to go to the emergency room in the middle of the night every couple of months, for years, for acute cornea pain. After seeing all of those ER doctors, Dr. Stampfer was the only one to figure out what was wrong. He provided a simple solution and it completely solved the problem. I am still grateful.

Dr. Stampfer is an ophthalmologist. I saw him 3 – 4 times last year at MIT Medical for a severely inflammed eyelid. To be honest, he’s one of the best doctors I’ve met. –Excellent bedside manners, friendly and approachable. –Shows genuine concern for the patient. –Listens to you, discusses treatment options, and explains things. –Knowledgeable and experienced. –Kept following up with me till my condition was fully resolved. I no longer live in the Boston area, but any patients there in need of a good eye doctor should make an appointment with Dr. Stampfer.
