Wonderful space for our daughters 4^th birthday! Liz the owner is on point, very communicative, helpful and accommodating throughout the whole party planning process.
We had four fun filled age appropriate art activities that all the children just loved!

The children were free to create however they wanted, go back and fourth between activities and also played in a HUGE house/​train made from cardboard.
We were allowed to bring our own food and cupcakes to decorate.
My daughter had a blast with her friends and has a big smile on her face the entire time.

What a cool space! Took our 3 and a half year old niece here and she had a blast. The studio helpers did a great job explaining all of her options and she felt comfortable moving onto different activities when she was ready. I can’t imagine all the planning we would have had to do to gather all the cool materials they had available. Not to mention, for $ 15/​hour it is such a good deal compared to buying all the materials they had for her to play with.

Mucky Kids is such a great place to have in the neighborhood. They have really cool activities for drop-​in (think stamping, keychain-​making, print-​making, cutting, sensory activities, imaginative play). They also come up with really creative ways of doing all of those things. They play good music and the staff is always very kind and helpful. Drop-​in is the perfect thing to do on a cold or rainy day, or when the kids are just bored at home. I can’t wait for my daughter to take her first class here — I know she’s going to love it.

We did the open studio once and had a great time. Great space, excellent materials. It’s a fun place to visit when it’s too hot, too cold, too rainy.
Unfortunately, at $ 15/​hour it’s prohibitively expensive for us. When we previously went it was only $ 12/​hour. My son was only 2 at the time, so we didn’t stay for a full hour and it only cost us $ 8 or $ 9. Now that he’s almost 4, I’m sure he could easily stay there for an hour or even more and I can’t justify spending potentially $ 15+ for him to do arts and crafts.

Warm, welcoming environment for children. Clean, bright space that is cool on hot summer days. Projects that are fun and have a focus on learning new techniques. Summer camp last year was great. We are going again this year!

The place was great! Loved it, the kids had fun, cute ideas… One problem: They charged my 13 month old to be in the room. Grant it, he ate a bit of their black ink and put a few stones in his mouth, but they charged me $ 11.25 for him to just step in the door. For this reason alone I will not go back and I will not recommend it to my friends with small children. Sorry.

I’ve been taking my now 4 year old son here for years. We love the place and he is always excited to be there and to see Liz. The activities are very well thought out, differ from week to week, and the way Liz works with and gives the children feedback is really fabulous to see. This is a business that is run from the heart — someone with true passion in what she does; and it shows. A great winter activity.

I’ve taken my 4 year old nephew and 1 year old niece here and they both LOVE it! My nephew is constantly asking to go back. There are activities for all age ranges and all the products are completely safe and washable. It’s a great set up for kids that like to sit and do something from start to finish and for kids that can’t sit still. Plus you don’t have to clean anything up and the art teacher will save anything that needs to dry until you come back!
