JFK Jr Forum at Harvard Kennedy School

I worked at HKS 6 years, first for 3 professors, then two, then just the one. Two of three only there to serve themselves, crooked and phony. One touted himself an economist but MS and PhD were in Policy, from where else but HKS. Unable to make it in the real world. I was his servant, like Downton Abby. He only ever gave A’s and B’s even to lazy C and D students, some adult CEOs, all for the cash they came cap in hand bowing for. Sad. Too many non-​academics there called «Professors of Practice», no teaching experience, some and even adjunct lectures teach — barely, for free for the supposed status. I was deemed «Leading Performer», a category applied to «Top 10%», their words, not mine. It was a dangling carrot. Sickening sexist treatment of staff, older staff now Executive Directors of centers and this and that, like degree programs, but have only high school educations. The older ones don’t come in on Fridays but «work from home». Not really, scarcely available but what a Cush Gig! A degree of any kind is not required to work in most staff or faculty assistant jobs, at Harvard too. Imagine! I could write a book on my time there: the lunches with Stella beers and soft shell crab sandwiches at Harvest Restaurant, and French champagne dinners for young mislead junior faculty old white farty sorts don’t really plan to hire, all paid for after via reimbursements they submit to bullied staff using federal, state and local research funds (e.g., DOT). Parents’ savings and students’ loans also pay the salaries of these Harvard welfare recipients who too often supposedly dine to talk about «a possible project.»
