Mark Kasdorf is the CEO & Founder of Intrepid Pursuits. Intrepid Pursuits is a Cambridge, MA based mobile development company, building native iOS and Android apps. Founded in 2010, Intrepid has grown to 30 employees, and has built 75+ apps for a variety of companies ranging from Fortune 500s to startup companies. Mark was formerly CEO of Timbre, a live-​music discovery app, which was acquired by Seatwave in 2014.

Intrepid Labs in Cambridge is hands-​down the best co-​working space I’ve worked in. Prior to this I’ve worked at 3 different co-​working spaces, all in silicon valley: 1 in menlo park, 1 in San Francisco, 1 in Sunnyvale. Intrepid Labs is my favorite.
We needed a space in Boston to house our remote Boston team for 1 month, so that’s why we were there. Chris and Mark who manage the space are both great people who are really friendly and want to enjoy their time while they work. They really care about the space and you really see it in the details. Great coffee, a very high-​quality ping pong table, occasional free food for everyone, and a really comfortable atmosphere. Mark was even experimenting with cold-​brewing ice coffee for us. Once when the internet went down they went into high gear and made sure we had access to an alternate internet line in an hour.
Location is great. Equal distance to both the Red line (Kendall sq) and the Green line (Lechmere).
Work wise: It’s not the quietest place ever, but I didn’t find it at the least problematic (and I’m very sensitive to sound and noise). Furniture is very comfortable. Lots of bean bags and sofas if you want to relax or work away from your desk. You can jump into any conference room at any time, and there’s always one available.
It’s also very easy to meet people, either while playing ping pong, or during the free food sessions, or just chilling after work.
I almost want to go back to Boston just to work at Intrepid Labs again :)
