Quaint little local restaurant. Small bar area. Lots of variety on the menu. Waitress was pleasant and checked to see if I needed anything 3 – 4 times. I was there early so the owner/manager was going over the daily menu and updates with the wait staff. That was nice to see! I ordered the chopped steak, baked potato, sautéed mushrooms and side salad. Food was seasoned well, good and hot! Nothing fancy but no complaints. Total bill $ 9.64. Nice alternative to local chains.

Great local place. While traveling I stopped by for lunch. I got the Baked Tilapia and seasoned rice. It tasted great. The service was good also.

We pulled off the road for a quick lunch on our way north, and Francis’ was great. The people were friendly and the service was quick. The food was plentiful and good. It was also family-friendly. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We head to Francis Family Restraunt every Sunday after church, you can get breakfast all day, they are known for their breakfast! Plus they have a great lunch menu, one of my favorites is the Camel rider with home made potato chips, good stuff!

I drive from Nashville to Cambridge least once every two months. This is my new fav. Place to eat. Portions are huge and service is excellent. Truly a great experience.

I went in with high hopes since it had 4 stars. Unfortunately not the case. Frozen, still thawing shrimp cocktail with a cocktail sauce that was brown and smelled like a dead body. I literally took one bite and spit it out. Frozen burger patty too with soggy lettuce. Very disappointing since I tried supporting a local business instead of going to any of 5 chain restaurants nearby and got pretty bad food…

Previous reviews said it all. I had veggie pasta(penne) which was very tasty. Side salad was basic, OK. Service very friendly. Décor needs refreshed.

After two nights of mid 30’s cold tent camping at salt fork primitive, I was ready for a hearty breakfast on Sunday. Francis definitely fit the bill. Friendly waitresses, endless coffee, large plates of hot filling breakfast food, and cheap as you’d expect for a small town shop. The interior has seen better days, but it’s Cambridge, so it’s another Rt 40 boom town that has seen better days anyways.

Great breakfast place. Highly recommend the huge Belgian Waffles, and the specialty omelets. The bacon and sausage here is especially good. Inside tip: the«Early Bird» breakfast menu, which features very reasonably priced basic breakfasts, is served all day. I asked the waitress, «you mean I can drag in here at 1pm with a hangover and still count as an «Early Bird?» Her reply, «Yep, we don’ t ask questions.»

This is by far the best food in town! Breakfast is served all day(the French toast is amazing and so are the chips!). The service is always quick and friendly. This is definitely my families favorite spot for breakfast or dinner.

Went to Salt Fork Arts & Craft Festival today in Cambridge, OH where Francis Family restaurant were selling burgers and chicken sandwiches with homemade potato chips. All were made fresh to order and delicious. Must go try their restaurant.

This restaurant was a fantastic find! We saw it recommended on-line and stopped on our trip. The steak was aged to perfection and the hummus was the best I have ever tasted. Be sure to try the Greek food and the steaks. I would go out of my way to eat there again. It was the best meal we had in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC.
