This hotel definitely needs renovation. The room was smelly. Window screens are old and falling apart. Bedding materials looked very old. Two things — Internet and breakfast — were ok. One day came back to hotel and the whole room was smelling of bleach. Had to keep door open for some time. Paid more than $ 90 per night for the room and I felt it was not worth the money. Pictures of this hotel on the website are deceiving. Actual picture is different. I will try to avoid it in the future and will not recommend to others.

Clean hotel with friendly staff at a reasonable price. The room was large allowing plenty of room.

Everything about this hotel was okay, except for one thing: when we arrived, the room was very hot. We had a pretty bad heat wave last week and when we got to the hotel the heat index outside was around 100. Upon entering our room, we found the shades open and the room temperature according to the thermostat was 94! We were told that’s because when the rooms are unoccupied, the air is turned off. It’s up to the guest to set the thermostat to the desired temp. We did that, but it took over 5 hours to get the temp down to the low 80s. When we asked for a fan, they didn’t have one. We felt the hotel should have turned on the air in the rooms they knew would be occupied(we had a res, after all) — especially during a heat wave. Let’s face it, Comfort Inns are not the Hyatt. I don’t expect gourmet food or fancy furnishings. But when you arrive all hot and tired, you want at least for your room to be cool and welcoming. I’ll be posting this on the Comfort Inn website as well. Hopefully, they will change their policy.

I thought this hotel could’nt be that bad because they’ve only been open a few months. Well, I was mistaken. You want to believe that hotels are looking out for your best interest but that us not the case. Check-in staff was friendly and efficient but let me just say that a hotel is only as good as the staff they employ and train. The hotel is presentable because it is new. However, there was a large beer can on the floor partially hidden under a chair when we arrived in the room! That can only mean the cleaning staff cannot be trusted to sufficiently clean the room. On the other hand, breakfast was adequate for our needs and the staff in the breakfast area were attentive and courteous. I am giving the breakfast staff the 2 stars(although they deserve more). The hotel does not get any stars. I just can’t do it. Also, there were not many guests here at the time which is always nice. The kids were able to play in the pool without a crowd and they had quite a good time.
