Sent flowers online from Ethiopia to my wife in Cambridge. Got a picture of the arrangement, when nobody was home to receive, I got an email message right away; the florist didn’t leave the flowers on porch to freeze. After consulting with me, Coady’s redelivered same day! Fantastic, professional, put-you-at-rest service!

Although a bit pricy, you get the bang for your buck! Coady is a wonderful local florist with exquisite bouquets that my company uses for all occasions. They hand deliver every single bouquet(never in a box) and the bouquets look even better than the pictures on the website. I noticed a few of the bad reviews but these reviewers but nearly most of them are issues with Telaflora not Coady Florist. I recommend ordering all bouquets directly through Coady Florist– they do NOT disappoint! I ordered 2 bouquets on the their website by mistake and someone contacted me immediately after I sent in an email to customer service. A+ for customer care!

I know this is a small, local business, but I’m sorry to say I would never use them or recommend them. Some friends sent me a sweet bouquet from Coady of three roses in a vase, but the next day, one had already died. I realized it was because the stem of this one was 7 inches shorter than the others, and wasn’t even long enough to reach the water in the vase. I called Coady, saying I had been pleased with their flowers in the past, but this time there was a problem. But as soon as I tried to explain what happened, he just cut me off. I asked him to let me continue, thinking he would want to know what happened here, with a rose that shouldn’t have been used. He immediately got sarcastic, talking about firing the floral designer, etc. He also complained to me about my friends who called him to send me the bouquet, complaining about them trying to get a low price. Maybe they did(they are retired people in their late 80’s), but it was up to him to accept the price, and more importantly, it was so rude that he would say this to me about my friends — I can’t imagine how embarrassed they would be. He also asked me if there is a security camera in the lobby of my building, saying someone might have knocked over the roses before I came down to pick them up. This is ludicrous — I came downstairs less than two minutes after he rang my buzzer, and it would be impossible for the vase to have been knocked over and snapped off 7 inches off the stem of one of the roses, like it was made out of glass. So this man took what should have been a polite interaction about an easily solvable issue and turned it into something very upsetting. He did finally offer to deliver another rose, but I told him he didn’t need to. After the terrible way he handled this, including insulting my friends and completely taking away the pleasure of receiving flowers, I would never use or recommend this florist.

I absolutely loved working with Dan from Coady Florist for my wedding last August. He sat with me and looked at my pinterest page to start, then discussed realistic seasonal options and arrangements. Dan then went above and beyond, letting me bring in cuttings to lower the cost and make the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages unique and special to myself and my guests. Dan took whatever material I brought in and used it to make magic. Beyond this, he always considered the balance of my budget versus the look I was going for and came up with great ways to get me what I wanted within a budget that was entirely reasonable. Lastly– Dan was wonderful with managing my mother and helping me prepare for the management of my mother’s input(which can be… excessive) over the course of my wedding and reminded me to breathe and not take it so seriously, so that I could enjoy this special day! What a great experience and a fantastic local florist. Highly recommend :)

A loved one sent me a gift of the freshest, most beautiful, sweetest smelling potted purple hyacinths from Coady Florist. Beautiful packaging, dependable delivery, lovely card with helpful plant care instructions.

I’ve relied on Coady florist for a wedding bouquet, a couple funeral arrangements, and(perhaps the most important!) flowers for my girlfriend for no particular reason. Every time they’ve been beautiful, fresh, and kept for a good while. The owner, Dan, is very friendly and helpful at helping you choose flowers. He greets most people by name too — it shows a real dedication to the neighborhood. I’ll be using them for the foreseeable future.

My husband had Valentine’s Day flowers delivered to me at work. Despite him requesting a V-day bouquet with roses(and paying a lot of money for it) they created a small arrangement of red carnations and 3 red roses. That was it. No other flowers or colors, all one height and sticking straight up, tight in the vase. The roses started to die after two days. I’ve had MUCH cheaper flowers from Whole Foods that have lasted longer and looked better in the vase.

Found these guys in a pinch. I was really worried because I ordered hastily on the phone and didn’t look up the reviews until afterwards. Needless to say when I found the other reviews I was very nervous about what kind of product I’d get. In the end all was well. The flowers were beautiful and they were delivered on time(it was a last minute request too! I called around 1:00PM and they delivered around 4:30 which I was super psyched — definitely got the job done), and my girlfriend was really happy. The flower quality was good. For the money I wouldn’t say it was a stunning bouquet, but they definitely weren’t just carnations and they weren’t old or wilty. He gave me a few lily stems that were maybe 15% open and never really opened. If the flowers were a little better, or if I had paid a little less for what I got, then I would have been happier. Getting my flowers delivered last minute and taking care of me deserves 4 stars.

A Valentine’s bouquet just arrived from this florist, filled with brown, shriveled roses. The bouquet included a note saying«We at Coady Florist have built an excellent reputation on beautiful flowers and prompt service. If we ever fail to meet your expectations, please let us know,» and a phone number. However, I shouldn’t have bothered calling. The snippy man on the phone had nothing more to say than«Well, I don’t know what you want *me* to do about it» and«That’s what the roses look like this year.» They claim they’ll come and exchange the bouquet… with an identical one, presumably filled with identically shriveled roses. Maybe they’ll give my original shriveled bouquet to someone else. Happy Valentine’s Day!

I ordered my flowers through Teleflora… I chose the florist across the street from me, and I ended up with these guys. First off, bad customer service, specifically said I wanted a call, never got one, they rang the doorbell and I was here. Called back, asked for them to come by around 4pm, they didn’t get here until after 5:30pm. The quality of flowers was horrific. I would be EMBARRASSED to give these to my girlfriend. I get better $ 5 bouquets from North Station! Thank God I shipped them to myself so I could ATTEMPT to fix them. Please see attached pics. Worst service and flowers I have ever received. This company should not be allowed to operate. Way to ruin Valentine’s Day guys… only your busiest day of the year. Sad.
