They give less meat now… it used to be much more and now they give so little chicken — only 1 small scoop!

The food is pretty average chipotle food. They are one of the worst chipotle’s I’ve ever been to as far as inventory management. You should generally expect them to be out of something and assume when walking in that they do not have any fajitas left. I go in a few times a week and actually put in the effort of counting. Exactly 10⁄12 times they are out of fajita and ¼ times they are out of one of the kinds of tabasco sauce. Also, they have an incredibly long line usually which is a pain in the ass. And it’s a VERY slow moving line.

Bad quality and seemingly depressed workers. The food here tastes very peculiar compared to the other Chipotles I’ve been at.

Not my favorite Chipotle location. Chipotle is Chipotle, so you know what to expect. That said, this location doesn’t really make me feel like going back. My burrito was familiar and tasted fine, but the restaurant was really dirty. Nothing ruins your appetite and makes you lose confidence in a adequate health standards like a dirty restaurant. Anecdotal evidence plus the nationwide issues Chipotle has had recently do not really inspire confidence. I showed up around 11 am just as the restaurant was opening and it was filthy which means it was all at least day old filth that hadn’t been cleaned overnight. Not only do I not want to eat there, I am afraid to order takeout.

I love Chipotle, but this location is disgusting. With a long line out the door, you would think that their food would reflect this. No. It doesn’t even taste like Chipotle. I wanted guacamole, but they were obviously using yesterday’s guac since it was dark brown. I went 5 minutes after they opened so no excuse. Yuck. Not a great experience.

The service here is such a nightmare. I never thought I would have such an unpleasant trip at chipotle. I constantly had to repeat myself because the man serving me was blatantly ignoring me. It was so obvious that the guy behind me had to stop him and be like hey the girls taking to you. Just such a overall bad experience. Not to mention their portions.

Despite reliably good food, this evening they had absolutely wretched service. Orders were misheard, one customer was somehow completely skipped in the line, portions were tiny, and one server kept putting toppings on that the customers hadn’t asked for. You guys could do much better for very little effort.

Terrible service. The food isn’t bad, it just took forever to make my order and got some attitude to go with it. Would not recommend.

First off, I love Chipotle. Nothing wrong with my food, but when visiting this restaurant I was disappointed with the dirty floors and tables. Also wish that I won’t get glared at by a staff member when I ask for a to-go back :)

I needed lots of inexpensive food containers to help conference guests bring extra food home. I asked, and the manager gave a package of paper bowls and aluminum lids to me. Thanks!

While I am a huge Chipotle fan, I’m not a huge fan of this location in Kendall Square, mainly because the space is small and it gets so crowded during the busy hours that the line gets ridiculously long. Even if you do wait in line and eventually get your food, good luck finding a table. And if you do manage to find a seat, good luck hearing your conversation. It’s great to come here during the off hours though.

One of the worst Chipotle’s in the whole country. I live near by and visit this store from time to time since there are not many fast foods around. 9 out of 10 they make a mistake making my order. 8 out of 10 they put just a little meat and need to be told to add more(I am slim and content with med to low amount) and 7 of 10 they are rude. Even once I encountered a fight between two of the workers. In general they are not happy with their job — may be due to a mean manager or a crowded store — and do not care about the customer.

To be honest I have never been a big chipotle fan… I prefer Anna’s taqueria or boloco. Both are local and In my opinion better. I had no service issues here.

I usually go to this Chipotle when I am in need of a quick filling meal. My go-to order is the sofritas bowl. It is pretty good in terms of portions and tofu tastes nice to me at least. If you’re one of the last people to order in a day, you get more in your bowl haha. Anyway my only peeve is the counter staff are rather impatient. I understand that they usually have to deal with a huge rush but one of my experiences wasn’t the most friendly and I was one of 2 people in line. I think one of the issues is that the staff can’t hear customers properly over the glass/with the other noise and the miscommunication might annoy either party. Perhaps if this is fixed, more people can have a pleasant experience. They’re amazingly efficient though!

Standard chipotle — haven’t had any issues with the service that other reviewers have mentioned. Comes out to $ 8 for a vegetable or sofritas dish. Line gets super long around lunch but moves decently fast.

I went here for a basic chicken burrito with rice and beans. Nothing more. There were a few customers ahead of me, but it wasn’t crazy busy to the point where things could get confusing. Yet somehow, the cashier(receipt says her name was Viviana) charged me an additional $ 1.41 for chips that I never ordered(…and never received anyway). I thought it was suspicious that she seemed reluctant to give me a receipt, but I thought to myself, «Why am I paying nine bucks for a $ 7.01 burrito? Food prep tax can’t have gotten THAT high.» Naturally, once I saw what I’d been charged for, I asked for a refund and she had to get her manager to authorize it. I don’t want to accuse anybody here, but I can’t help but wonder how many times she(…or anybody else) adds extras to an order, hoping the customer won’t notice something’s amiss and won’t ask for a receipt. I thought it was telling that, to get my specific receipt, she had to rip off three receipts that came prior to mine, so she’s seemingly not giving ANYBODY their receipts. Aside from that, the burrito was a let down. Tortilla was fine and the rice and beans were fine, but they burnt the chicken to the point where I was having to spit black coal out of my mouth with every bite. Sure, by all means cook the chicken, but you don’t have to burn it beyond recognition. Maybe this was a one-time fluke, but I honestly don’t see what all the fuss is about with this place. The whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally.

This is the worst dining establishment not just in Cambridge, but probably in the world at large. Cambridge has a few Chipotle options, and the other locations are deserving of at least two and a half stars. Definitely not here. The staff is incredibly rude. I was verbally assaulted by the manager one day, in front of a group of people who were waiting for their food. This is a criminal corporation, like most, but this particular one is so damn shady, you’ll get charged differently every time you try to dine here. I’ve paid 5.25, $ 7.00, and $ 10.00 for the same combination of ingredients at this Chipotle. For a while, I said nothing about it, but I decided to finally put an end to it and ask the staff what was happening. It wasn’t explained to me at all; the rude manager just yelled his name at me and offered me his card. I had already been disappointed because these supposedly«well-trained» servers have allergen awareness, but when I told the server, «I can’t have wheat. no gluten products,» he said, «That’s okay; we don’t have any wheat or gluten here.» He kept his gloves on and continued to prepare my gluten-free bowl after having touched a flour tortilla(very much a glutenous treat). I asked at the register because I was angry about the gloves, but it really became about the money at the end of the transaction. Chipotle, if McDonalds and Burger King can explain their pricing, then you should be able to too. Am I expecting too much? We shouldn’t wait to get to the register to know how much money we are going to spend. Also, the entire staff here needs to be retrained in allergen awareness. Has the FDA come knocking lately? They should.

I don’t like rude people. $ 10 for fast casual lunch should yield a full belly and a happy gal. Well no, not here. Staff is awful, unusual for a chipotle. Been to several locations in ohio and in MA(DTX, Davis sq, Meffa) and the staff is great. Not here! Honey I shrink the serving utensils… Where are my black beans and I can’t see my cheese **Good thing about this chipotle is their guac has no sour cream(Anna’s guac, comparatively, does have sour cream) so one star for that. I’m so hungry

Chipotle has good meat and quality salsa, etc at every location. What is terrible about this location is that they can’t wrap a burrito. This seems to be a theme amongst Unilocal reviews for this location. I came because I had a coupon. But I think I’ll stick with annas!

Dude this place always has a line around the shop at lunch time. I got there at 1.30 to get a burrito and they were out of brown rice… i was asked if it was ok… but wasn’t really told when the brown rice was going to be ready or how long of a wait? You’d think if the brown rice was a hot item, there’d be plenty ready… why are you out? why don’t you have more ready for the lunch rush. Also, the lady asked me what i wanted, I wanted cheese and lettuce… i tried to get her attention 5 times but she was too interested in the staff meeting going on to the side to stop wrapping the burrito and put in lettuce. I gave up because once it gets wrapped /unwrapped it’s never the same… its kind of like folding a map. once you open it you can’t get it back folded the right way. I love chipotle, but this location could do so much better. I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.
