History
Established in 2008.
Cambridge Art & Frame is a privately owned and operated family business. Inspiration for starting Cambridge Art & Frame came from the owner’s mother, Anna Botti Montone, who was an artist. She worked for many years at the John Castano Art Gallery on Newbury Street, Boston. The gallery would commission framing work from a gentleman named Sabastian. Sebastian would also frame Anna Botti Montone’s artwork. Cambridge Art & Frame operates at the same location in East Cambridge once occupied by Sabastian’s Custom Picture Framing at 101 First Street. The tradition continues.
