Meet the Business Owner
Kia K.
Business Owner
Kia came to Arthur Murray from the Management Consulting profession as a result of her increasing desire to connect her passion for the creative arts to her life’s work. Her introduction to ballroom dance occurred 10 years ago at the Boston Arthur Murray studio where she taught students of all levels, performed both professionally and with her students, and served as Studio Manager for over 6 years. She opened the Cambridge Arthur Murray studio in August of 2013. As a current American Smooth competitor, Kia is an Arthur Murray Rising Star finalist and enjoys sharing her passion via professional shows as well. Throughout her time with Arthur Murray, one of her favorite roles has been helping new students discover the amazing benefits of ballroom dancing. Having once been a shy socialite that feared the dance floor, Kia is passionate about ballroom dancing’s ability to increase one’s confidence, grace, and joy in life as well as it’s relational benefits for couples of all ages.
