Says they are open until 7pm. Got there at 6pm and it looked like they’d been closed for a long time before we ever showed up. I was really upset because I’d been planning this trip for a while and had been looking for this kind of place and it had great reviews and looked perfect. I was really excited to try this! The reason it’s getting any stars at all is because I’m giving the benefit of the doubt, it’s a small town and maybe it’s family owned, maybe there was a family emergency. But closing a few hours early assuming you won’t get any business for the rest of the night is a sure way to not get business for the rest of the night… Now– off to write a nice review for the place where we did actually have dinner! It’s probably lovely, just if you made plans to eat there, maybe call first so you aren’t disappointed like I was.

We had a great time at this restaurant. We ordered the Veggie sandwich, which was Excellent. We then ordered the Olallabery pie, which was … WOW!!! He said they have a farm, where they pick the food and the ollalaberry pie is all theirs. Excellent!!! 5⁄5 Stars. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be back!!!

The pie was very underwhelming and small. I had the banana cream. Their tiramisu cake was really dry and disgusting. Very upset considering this is labeled as «gourmet». Not worth your time if you’re visiting the area.

Tried the raspberry rhubarb pie. This is not one to miss! The dough of the pie is delicious and the filling is overflowing and yummy. Sweet but just right!

My favorite place in Cambria! The beef stew and Mac n cheese are awesome! Make sure to try anything with Ollieberry!

The only bad thing about this place is finding it! They need more signs. It’s located behind the main restaurant down an alley. We ordered the chicken and beef pot pies as well as the Olallieberry pie. I don’t know what the hype is about their famous Olallieberry pie. It was ok. Maybe it’s the berry that’s famous. I don’t know. The pot pies were really really good. It comes with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy which was also very good. It sounds like a lot, but the pot pies are a reasonable size. My 7&9 year old did not share and were able to finish most of their pot pie and mashed potatoes. My husband finished off his entire pot pie, mashed potatoes and slice of Olallieberry pie. We would come back here for the pot pies and maybe try a different dessert pie.

Okay, this place? Is crazy good! I have enjoyed 2 pot pies in my entire LONG life and this was one of them. We’re here on vacation and that’s the second meal we’ve had from there. Try the cream pies too, or anything. Great place with super friendly people.

This review is for the café, up the side street BEHIND the restaurant on Main St. Stopped in about 8:30 p.m. as everything else was closing just to see what it was. The 2 guys working were super cool about chatting and I liked the looks of it and had been warned that there could be long lines at the main restaurant for breakfast. Next day at lunch time we strolled in there after a long walk on the beach. She ordered a fancy salad and I had a *panini with pesto, turkey and brie. Food came quickly and service was smiling and friendly. She quite liked the salad and I really liked the sandwich which was oozing with a decen brie, a smoked turkey where you could actually taste a little smoke and almost too much pesto. It was anything but bland as someone below accused this place of being. I like giving good reviews but we also have to mention the warts. $ 9.50 for a good quality café sandwich. That’s about a buck more than here on the westside of L.A. and that can be tossed off to resort pricing, high labor costs or whatever. Call it vacation price if you like but not even a few chips, grapes, or a pickle with the sandwich which was kind of small and that leads me to the next quibble. A panini comes on a ciabatta or a baguette NOT sliced sourdough. Half star off for the lack of value and a half star for the item being not what it purported to be. Still a strongly positive review for quick, easy and relaxed café food on a nice patio. I didn’t get to meet the cat but I met some nice dogs on the patio. It was part of the charm.

My wife and I were in Moonstone Beach for the week to get married. We had planned on having an arrival dinner for our out of town guests the evening they all arrived in town at our hotel. Finding a place for the type of food we wanted proved to be tougher than we thought. Quite on accident, we stumbled on Linn’s. We went inside and were blown away! We spoke with Rick Lawson at Linn’s Easy as Pie and were blown away by the food and how nice Rick and the others in the café treated us. Rick even offered to drop the food off for us on his way home from work! My wife and I, in addition to our guests, were absolutely blown away by the food! We had to get their famous Olallieberry pie and it did NOT disappoint! If you are ever in the Cabria area, don’t miss a visit to Linn’s Easy as Pie and please tell Rick that Doug & Marissa say«Hi!»

Overall the food and deserts, service, atmosphere are outstanding. Oddly their ‘Mac n Cheese’ is a disaster: dry, tiny pasta and flavorless uninteresting cheese. (Like a bad elementary school lunch) Everything else I’ve had at both the restaurant and café have been spectacular, they still rate five stars.

Great for coffee and a slice of olallieberry pie. The outside patio makes it a special place to relax and enjoy. Kind and attentive staff make it a place you’ll want to return to time and time again. I know I will!

The brisket sandwich, chicken pot pie, olallieberry pie ala mode were perfect. I know it’s tri-tip country, but that brisket was great and not over sauced. Very nice outdoor seating area, clean restrooms, and pleasant staff. If you are thirsty for water be prepared to buy it they won’t let you have any for free. I know, I know there’s a drought, but fair warning pack your own in — there’s also a surplus of plastic trash its best to not take part in the single serve water business so don’t buy a bottle there. The water thing aside I highly recommend the food, and encourage you to visit.

Tranquil little spot to grab a quick bite to eat… Good old fashioned comfort food at a down home price. I had the chicken pot pie with a salad instead of mashed potatoes. Yummy! Wife had the turkey wrap with the broccoli salad, she said it was good. Next time, I will stop in for coffee and a cinnamon roll…

Pricey. Good pie. Served on paper plates(a dish would have been nice for the price). Disliked the coffee.

Well we went on a Thursday. And we ordered 1 éclair and 1 rasberry/lemon pie. It was alittle disappointing because neither one was fresh ATALL. OBVIOUSLY sitting out all day. We didn’t even finish either one. We went there because they had pretty good reviews but… I gave it 3 stars because of the quality.

I love pie. Everyone knows I love pie. So when we were in Cambria, my friend insisted we go get pie… from Linn’s. While our day was jam-packed with much to do, it was his life’s mission to get me a piece of Linn pie. The son told me the story – every city dweller caught in the rat race’s dream! Give up your corporate job, move to a small, quaint, charming town and BUILD A PIEEMPIRE. Oh how I dream… First of all… that friendly cat they’ve got in the back… if Linn’s family ever wakes up one day to that missing cat… I have catnapped it. That cat was bad ass, chill and very friendly. I loved it. The pies are clearly made with fresh ingredients. The crust is perfectly flaky and the filling is perfectly sweet. While I wasn’t a fan of their olallieberry(spelling!!!), that’s not indicative that it wasn’t delicious. I just personally don’t like seedy anything that get in between my teeth and grant me discomfort all day long until I floss. The blueberry pie was my FAVORITE and when I plan a trip to take my husband to go visit Hearst Castle – I’m driving here for breakfast dessert… lunch dessert… dinner dessert.

I have tried Linn’s olallieberry, old-fashioned apple, traditional pecan, peach blueberry, California apricot and raspberry-rhubarb pies. I like them all even though Linn’s is famed for the olallieberry pie but hands-down the best for me is still Raspberry-Rhubarb because it has the right amount of sweetness and tartness enveloped in a flaky buttery pie crust and the taste is simply divine. Serve it warm paired with a large scoop of all natural cherry ice cream and you have got it made! Soooo delicious! I had to watch myself from devouring the whole pie. I brought it once to a party with a pint of Safeway brand’s Open Nature Cherry Vanilla ice cream and they were gone before I knew it. Simply decadent!
