Jill’s Dog Sitting

Jill took such wonderful care of our labradoodle Kirby while we were away! He fell in love with her instantly! Jill is very kind and gentle and you can tell she really enjoys dogs. Kirby was relaxed and happy when we got home. You could tell he’d been well loved.

Jill was outstanding with my daughter’s dog Ray who is blind. She came on time after my daughter’s wedding ceremony at the Cambria Pines Lodge, met Ray and myself at the room and took wonderful care of him during the reception. She was loving and caring with him. I highly recommend Jill. She is the best. Jill made the evening more relaxing knowing he was in such good hand.

Boy, did we luck out. We needed someone to care for our shy elderly dogs for twelve hours due to graduation events. We booked Jill sight unseen, and even though they hadn’t met her, our sighthounds were instantly comfortable with her. We thought our dogs would freak out having us gone for so long, but we came back late that night to happy, relaxed dogs who had been pampered, treated, and walked. They had a great time. We’ll use her again in a heartbeat, assuming she’s not booked months in advance.

My fiancé and I love to visit Cambria, but we do not go anywhere without our two fur children. My fiancé is incredibly particular about who watches them because one of them is 12 and has a lot of special needs.
Jill has been an incredible resource to us. She is always on time, friendly and, best of all, has a genuine love for dogs. Our dogs usually bark at strangers or distrust them, but when they first met Jill, it was as if they could just sense her loving nature. Jill walks our dogs and takes care of them the way we would.
We’ve used Jill’s services three times now and are going to use her again in March when we get married in Cambria. I highly recommend her to anyone! Our dogs (and we) just love her.

I almost hate to write a review for fear her time will become more limited…
I finally found a pet sitter for my pets that all my pets love, and I come home to a house that is in good order. I very much appreciate her assistance while I’m out of town. Highly recommended her!

After reading the rave reviews on Unilocal,my boyfriend and I chose Jill as our pet sitter for our «sightseeing day» in cambria. She arrived to our hotel room on time, and within 2 minutes our mutt, Pedro, was sitting next to her rather than us. She has a great energy toward dogs and is very comfortable with them. She is down to earth, seemed very understanding of Pedro’s «quirks» (every pet has their own), and was easy to trust with our canine baby. She took him on a long walk while we were gone. He seemed happy & tired when we returned (see picture). Very reasonable rate at $ 15/​hour (we gave her a tip too, all well worth the peace of mind while we were away). When we come back to Cambria for our next visit, we’ll definitely be using Jill’s Dog Sitting Service again! Highly recommend!!!

jill met us at our motel on moonstone beach. she was prompt, very nice and our pups loved her. we had her watched our pups while we went on a tour to hearst castle and the following day while we went to have lunch (where dogs weren’t welcome). we would definitely have her watch our dogs again! so glad we did!

We used Jill’s services to watch our two dogs, Black Lab and a Golden Retriever so we could have a day of sightseeing. She was prompt, prepared and friendly. Our dogs seem very happy and comfortable with her. She took them for a walk and threw the ball for the lab. Would highly recommend her services.

We take our dog Scooter to Cambria and if we don’t want to leave him inside all day, while we go wine tasting or to Hearst Castle, we always call Jill, because she loves dogs, is always on time, and her rate is reasonable, You can tell she is a dog lover. Highly recommended. Cambria is so beautiful!

Jill is simply the best dog sitter in Cambria and San Simeon. While staying on Moonstone Beach or in town, she’ll come to your hotel or your rental home to take care of your beloved «kids.» Jill starts with a walk and some interactive play time. She charges a reasonable $ 15 an hour and is usually available on short notice.
