Great place, been coming here since moving to Camas/​Washougal in 2001. Aaron is one of the best I’ve ever experienced with customer service. Store has a great selection of «stuff» and just about the time I think, I can’t imagine Lutz will have this so I’ll go to HoDe, nope Lutz has exactly what I need.
I always go here first before going elsewhere just so I can support the local guys.

Just about everything you need is there. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Free popcorn too. It’s everything a hardware store should be. I actually look forward to going there. Can’t say I feel that way when I go to the big box hardware stores.

Just the greatest store. Selection is plenty big for just about anything you need, the employees are helpful, and the prices are right. The plumbing part I needed was a dollar less than either of the nearby Big Box stores, I spent locally, and I saved a half hour of driving and walking. Do yourself a favor, and Shop Lutz.

People here are always really nice and helpful. For some reason they have a huge selection of soda in glass bottles (Which is a good thing). Tons of flavors and brands I’ve never heard of.
Plus they have a store cat named Coaster who diligently tends the sand paper.

A great local hardware store always sets the stage for a downtown area. Lutz Hardware does just this to the city of Camas. Located in the downtown area Lutz is my go to place for my hardware. Tip: Say hi to the Cat, eat some popcorn, have a cup of coffee and take your time.

Aaron and his staff really epitomize the «small town family business» style. Every time you go in you feel as if you are the most important person to ever walk through their door. Friendly, helpful and honest. I have walked out of there several times with a phone number of somewhere else I could find the gizmo or part… honesty and old school courtesy is what you get at Lutz Hardware.

I used to go to Parkrose Hardware in Vancouver until I built a home last year and was renting near downtown Camas. This became my go to place for hard to find items such as special screws and latex spray paint (they were the only place who still had it last fall and then that mfg discontinued). Both places are good but the people are a bit more friendly here :)

I brag about Lutz to all my friends. I have absolutely no skills around the house. With Lutz I just take a picture of my problem and bring it in. They always know how to fix everything, and they coach me along to make me feel like I am not so helpless.
The greatest thing abut them is if they don’t have what you need they will order it or tell you where to go find it. They are my first stop for all things home related!

On more than one occasion I have found myself in the Camas/​Washougal area (don’t ask why) and in need of a good hardware store. Locals all say «Lutz», for a while I thought they were just figure skating fans celebrating the 1962 World Figure Skating Championships when Donald Jackson landed the first triple lutz. Turns out no one knew who Donald Jackson was and they were, in fact, telling me about a hardware store.
Lutz Hardware is in downtown Camas, has convenient parking, an excellent selection of everything I need (again, don’t ask) and even a friendly store cat who likes to get pets. The people who work in this store must be on some serious mood elevators because they are all friendly, upbeat, happy to drop whatever mundane task they are performing and make sure you get what you need. Lets see a big box store do that!
