Allure Salon and Spa

We walked in without an appointment and they worked with us to get us in. It’s so refreshing to feel like our business is wanted and our hard earned money is appreciated. We’ll definitely be back with the rest of our family!

I have been looking for a salon since I moved here and I found the ONE! Natalie’s color skills are perfect. I will be recommending this salon

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review. But I feel like I would want to be forewarned about something like this.
I had my hair cut and colored by Maxine, blonde highlights with brown lowlights. After my hair was foiled, I was left under the dryer-​unattended-​for 45 minutes… with bleach!
I hadn’t realized the severity of the damage until I got home.
Not only did I have grey, green, blue hair but my hair was also breaking off! I have So much breakage, it’s devastating. I know it’s just hair but paying $ 160 to have my hair completely ruined is not okay. After my hair was damaged from the over processing, she went crazy with the texturizing– probably trying to cover up the damage.
I called the stylist, Maxine, 2 days later (salon is closed on Sunday) to tell her about everything. Her response was to come in and let her color it again and she doesn’t do any kind of refund or partial refund. No way in the world would I let her touch my hair again!
My fiancées daughter had her hair colored at this salon about 6 months ago with a different stylist and had the same exact issue, grey hair and breakage.
The owner suggested that I come in and let them fix it. No thanks. This salon has screwed up too many times to be trusted. They don’t stand behind their work, if they ruin your hair, it’s ‘oh well, We got your money now’ …and clearly that’s all they care about. If you are considering this salon, proceed with caution!

My first time at this salon was a great experience. First of all, when I saw that they have on line booking, I was in; it is so convenient to book these beauty appointments through web sites and apps. Second, I saw Amber who is the owner, and she did an excellent job with the colour. I am always nervous to see a new stylist but this worked out great. The root retouch looks great, the colour blanded wonderfully. Amber was very perky and fast with her work. I loved it. Definitely coming back!

Susan Glavin… love her! She’s very experienced and very talented. I love my color and cut. I have long hair and she’s layered it so it moves nicely, keeps its shape, and grows out nicely as well. I love my color! She added some really great blond weave pieces around my face to accent the darker color.

Went in to see Susan and what a great place! Susan did an amazing job with my hair, and I am very picky! Not only that but the salon was amazing as well, very friendly, clean and a great vibe!

I was looking for a salon that I could continue to have! I walked in asked for an appointment that day and got one! My hair was a hot mess. Susan is AMAZING! she takes her time, she knows her stuff, and is very inspiring! All the ladies in the salon are fun and friendly and the enviroment is perfect! I highly recommend Susan and Allure Salon for your hair!

Allure is a great, friendly, clean place.
Susan is fantastic! She did a blond ombré for me and gave me exactly what I wanted! She’s super friendly and a great conversationalist. Susan is also really attentive and takes her time to make sure you get what you want. I’m definitely going back to see her again!

Everything was fine, haircut fine, conversation fine, but nothing special. The lady that cut my hair was nice enough, everyone felt a bit pretentious. A bit pricey for the service done. The haircut started late and got finished within 40 minutes. Overall average experience.

This salon is fabulous. Amber did my hair and she took it from brown ombré and she did a blonde foil, with blonde ombré and it looks incredible. Photo was uploaded!
The receptionist was also extremely accommodating and made sure I had my coffee with cream every time I’m in the salon.
The product line (Surface) they carry is awesome. I love the bassu line of Surface.
Overall experience is pleasant and positive. I can’t wait to go back… Scared I’ll buy more Surface products though!

I moved here from Cali in July. I went to a salon in Vancouver where I was totally disappointed. It is not easy finding someone that can do blonde right. No girl wants to walk around with dark roots or orange hair. I kept optimistic but in the mean time I had to keep traveling back to Cali. I stopped a girl on the street who had great hair. She was very happy with this salon and described the girl who did hers. I called and they scheduled me with JEN!!! Yay Jen! She is beyond amazing and I felt like I had known her forever. She is so talented and knew exactly what I wanted. My hair is exactly the way I wanted it. I am sooooooooo happy! Also the cut is amazing!!!

Very snooty! You feel like you are being judged. Very much has a mean girls feel. Bad vibes! I will never go there again. They try to make themselves as a high end salon with super high prices but it is very ordinary and plain. Nothing special.

Leann does the best A-​line… I searched for years and now that I’ve found her… I’ll never go to anyone else!!! Beautiful salon… Great atmosphere!

I went a few times with Sandy, who has now moved to another salon, but the last time I went, I saw Anna. Both did a great job and I would have continued to go had I not moved. I really liked being able to make appointments online and the staff all seemed very knowledgeable.

I just had my hair styled for my Portland pin up photo shoot, and I left feeling a 100% confident and happy with it. They do an absolutely wonderful job and are incredibly sweet and very easy to work with. The location seems a bit far if your coming from Portland but in actuality its not, and its very easy to get to off the highway. Totally loved my experience there!

Had a wonderful first visit today, I’m really picky but also indecisive about my hair… Jen did a phenomenal job with both cut and color, will definitely come back!

Out of all of the salons around, this is the ONLY place in the Portland/​Vancouver area I will ever go to for my hair and styling!
Amber, the owner, has the artful hands of a goddess. She is always a consummate professional. Great communication, wonderful execution, fantastic outcome. The stylists continually attend classes and conferences to stay on the cutting edge (pun intended) of education, technique, and industry technology.
I have very thick, unruly, hair, and Amber tames my wild mane with ease. The results are consistently gorgeous and for a very reasonable price. The products they carry are of the utmost quality, and the salon is always clean, bright, welcoming, and accommodating.
I cannot say enough good things about Amber, Erin, and all of the staff at Allure!
