Metal braces are the most common type. They are made of high-​grade stainless steel. Today’s metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive than ever before. Most of our younger patients prefer the metal braces and love to decorate them with all different colors. Clear braces are made of translucent (clear) material. There are many different kinds of clear braces. Unfortunately, many orthodontists (in an effort to save money) like to use lower quality plastic braces that tend to wear out and change color over time. In our office we use only the highest quality ceramic brackets that never discolor and are nearly as durable and low-​profile as the metal braces. Dr. Wright has been providing the highest quality orthodontic care to Camarillo and the surrounding areas since 2001. From our start-​from-​scratch beginnings we have grown into one of the most sought-​after and respected orthodontic practices in Ventura County, drawing patients from much of Southern California.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

After finishing his education at BYU, Dr. Chad Wright attended Dental School at UCLA, graduating first in his class in 1998. He then completed a residency in Hospital Dentistry at the VA Hospital in Los Angeles before attending Indiana University for his Orthodontic training. Dr. Wright earned both his Specialty Certificate and Master’s Degree in Orthodontics from IU. Since 2001, Dr. Wright has treated over 6000 orthodontic cases ranging from simple and routine to extremely complex, multi-​disciplinary cases. As a Premier Invisalign Provider, Dr. Wright has successfully treated over 700 Invisalign cases. For many years, he has been one of Invisalign’s clinical instructors, educating many of the area’s other Invisalign providers. Dr. Wright has served as a national spokesman for a leading brand of braces, and has written many articles and has lectured at national meetings. Married to his wife for over 20 years, Dr. Wright is the father of four children, all of whom have needed braces.
