I do not like coffee but I love the vanilla latte. I had no idea this location existed. But I asked Siri and she took me there. I almost turned around thinking that it was a mistake or corporate office. But it turns out it is the factory and they have a shop upfront. Great find.

New manager is terrible & extremely rude; acts like shes doing you a favor selling you something. Employees also talk about her and how bad she is… Coffee Bean is traditionally tight-fisted and non-customer friendly and a good example of nickel and diming, with no consideration for regulars. When Starbucks remakes your drinks several times to get it right, you get a coupon for a free one — not here. The store’s staff is really good overall with good service and generally very pleasant — this review rests more with the poor corporate message and that Coffee Bean promotes this as their flagship store, but it’s tough finding seating at many times throughout the day as the employees take up all of the seating from the customers — It’s basically an extension of the break room for the coffee bean employees. Cannot believe corporate allows this. You won’t get any benefit from frequenting this company except a lame discount on old overstock mugs and thermoses or a percentage off one of their stale muffins. Wake up and smell the coffee, coffee bean. Learn how to treat and reward customers. Verdict: head to Starbucks.

I lived like 6 or 7 blocks from this CBTL in Camarillo for about three years before I ever discovered it. They are rather hidden in an industrial area and I think their primary clientele are the employees of the businesses in that area. They are the roasting center(at least for this area, if not for all Coffee Bean stores), so that’s pretty cool. They always make my drink taste great and the staff are always cheerful and friendly!

This is actually the coffee beans factory location. As far as coffee goes this is the best going. Im dinging them a star for a poor selection of food at this location. If you are only lookingfor a good cup of coffee though, it’s 5 star!

This is hands down my favorite CTBL. The baristas are so friendly and the place just has good vibes. The smell of roasted coffee beans is so comforting! Since its right off the freeway I look forward to it as I approach it. Always worth it! Same great coffee as other CTBL shops but the best service ever!

Ooh, how I do enjoy my chai latte with a whip. And Coffee Bean knows how to do it just right. During the holidays, they have this yummy blend called«Winter Dreams«(how appropriately named) It’s like wrapped up in a blanket. I highly recommend The Coffee Bean to everyone!!,

I love this particular store cos of many reasons: this is their roast plant so you can see the coffee beans being roasted in a huge barrell thru a big glass window at the store(too bad they don’t offer plant tour), the smell of fresh roasted coffee beans every morning when you drive by, friendly & knowledgable baristas, walking distance from my work, & their drinks are somehow made better than some other coffee bean stores(it’s true!). When I wanna try something new, i’d just ask the barista for drink suggestion, and their recommendation never fails me everytime! Like today, I discovered Genmaicha Green Tea Latte!

The closest CBTL for me is also the place where they make it all. Often times I can smell the beans roasting as I walk in. It’s a small hole in the wall type place with loyal customers who work in the industrial park. It’s labeled by an awning with it’s parent company name«International Coffee and Tea» so don’t be looking for the Coffee Bean sign. The service is nice and quick and they really know what their doing. No complaints except for the parking can get crazy if they’re busy.

Don’t miss this place, you very easily can. You are actually looking for a building in a heavily industrial area that says International Coffee and Tea — this is the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf roasting plant for all locations in the United States. Walk through the doors and you will be greeted by a very typical Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf setup. Why they don’t have a regular sign outside is beyond me, we almost drove right by it twice when we just happened to spot it. This is the most hidden of hidden Coffee Beans, but if you search, you will find coffee gold.

I don’t think a whole lot of people know about this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store located at the Coffee Bean’s roasting plant in a nondescript business park off of Pleasant Valley and Pancho, but until this week it has been the place that I get coffee, tea and snacks — at an employee discount — for the past two years. What makes this location stand out amongst other Coffee Beans is it’s employees. In the morning, Lisa makes the BEST drinks of just about any Coffee Bean barista. She really knows what she’s doing. She actually knows how to make foam! Shouldn’t that be a prerequisite? And while she is easily the best at making drinks at this location, all of the others are pretty good too, better than most other baristas at other locations. And since they serve such a small population of customers from the surrounding business park, they really know their customers well and are always super friendly. My favorites at the Coffee Bean — Café’ caramel, caramel Ice Blended, mocha Ice Blended with extra cherries, pomegranate blueberry Ice Blended all with the no sugar added powder — you really can’t tell the difference between the regular powder and the NSA. Also, the teas are so good and are one of the things that really make the Coffee Bean stand out from the competition. Too bad they are fazing a lot of them out. And if you are interested in seeing all the nuts and bolts of the roasting facility, there is a big window that looks out onto the production floor. They don’t offer tours of the plant, but you get a pretty good look at all the big machinery that goes into the roasting and packaging of all the company’s coffee. In case you go, because this was a problem at times, the store is located under the sign that reads the company’s actual name«International Coffee & Tea» at the front of the building. The awning that says«The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf» is actually my old department, e-Commerce. I’m sorry to anybody that walked into our offices thinking I’d make them a drink. I never even learned how to use our office coffee maker let alone make you a latte.
