Ryan Wells, MD

About three months before my wedding this spring, my dermatologist advised that a relatively large mole on my forehead needed to be removed (with some urgency) and referred me to Dr. Wells. I was generally worried to have something cut from my forehead and especially worried doing it so close to a day known for very important photos. The whole team at Ventura County Dermatology was so friendly, efficient and helpful through the process. Dr. Wells explained everything very carefully and was clearly an expert in this kind of thing. He also called a few days later to make sure it was healing well, before I returned for my check up visit. Everything turned out great and I highly recommend Dr. Wells and his team, especially when the procedure is on your face and so visible. The proof is in my wedding pictures where you cannot tell that there ever was a mole!

Recently my father had MOHS surgery for a skin cancer near his ear. He had a wonderful experience with the staff and Dr. Wells. He said they made a bad situation much better.
His scar is minimal and healing was a breeze. Just want back for his follow up and all is well. We are all very happy with Dr. Wells.
