Specialties
We are a network of teachers who tutor when we are not teaching. We offer the highest quality of tutor available, many of us holding masters degrees or higher with years of experience working with students in a professional capacity.
We come to your house or meet you in a public location such as the library or a coffee shop. Our tutors have experience with elementary, middle school, high school, and college age students and have always enjoyed helping students meet their goals in challenging classes. Many of us also offer tutoring through Skype or FaceTime to accommodate long distances or busy schedules.
In addition to improving content comprehension, we emphasize how students can be more efficient and organized in their studying.
We also offer a 2 session general standardized test prep course. Students will learn strategies for multiple choice, free response, and document-based questions as well tips on how to relieve test anxiety. This is not a subject specific course but is rather a course on successful test taking strategies.

Annie R.
Business Owner
I was born and raised in Ventura County, attending Saticoy Elementary School, Balboa Middle School, and St. Bonaventure High School (’00). I then earned my B.S. in Biopsychology with minors in Biochemistry and Exercise Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I earned my single subject teaching credentials in Chemistry and Biology from California Lutheran University in 2007 and my Masters in Teaching from National University in 2008. I taught AP and IB Chemistry, college prep chemistry, and biology at Rio Mesa High School for 5 years and one year of chemistry at St. Bonaventure High School before that. Currently, I am in my fifth year as the Science Coach for University Charter Schools, CSUCI in Camarillo. I have an almost 2 year old son, Jameson, and another baby due in December. Being a mom is the greatest adventure of all! I also love to dance, read, and exercise.
