Stuck in Oxnard after a blow out in our RV. Gus arrived in the biggest tow truck and was our knight in shining armor. Changed two tires for us and moved my ice chest! Thanks Gus and Platinum! Very professional, and very nice he wouldn’t let us drive home on a bald tire and waited as we scrambled to find tires and have them mounted.

Eric came out after a AAA call. He was prompt, professional and gave a reliable recommendation for an auto repair shop.

Platinum tow & transport has towed many vehicle’s for us in the past. They are very professional & on top of everything (great service). We will continue to use their loyal services in the future and we recommend them to all of our family, friends, & customers.

Had trouble with my car one morning called AAA for service Platinum Towing was there about 20 mins had a really helpful attendant help out with a tow. Thanks again Phillip!

Platinum was responsible for picking up my moms car after a fatal car crash in Somis. I’ll admit it took 10 – 15 minutes before even getting noticed at the window but It looked like they were having computer issues so I won’t grade them too hard on that matter. They held the car for my insurance adjuster and let me come-​in afterwards for closure regarding the accident. Very understanding ladies at the front desk and I truly truly appreciate it… On behalf of my family and myself, THANK YOU PLATINUM TOW!

Do not use! Every single employee I had spoken with was rude and very snarky including the woman at the desk and the tow guy (Jason). The WORST customer experience I’ve ever had from a towing company. In the future, I would suggest not giving your customers attitude when they are already upset about their broken down car.

I have just edited my review of Platinum Tow.
There was a mix up and miscommunication and once each party communicated the problems went away.
The actual tow was back in 2012 and was a resulted in a Sig alert. They got me off the 101 fwy safely

DO NOT USE! The absolute worst experience I have ever had! They are highway robbers, charged me $ 630 to use their service cuz of my daughters accident. The accident occurred only 3 miles away. Their excuse was «The city charges that». If you have a choice… DO NOT USE! Run away.

While driving my 80 year old parents up Hwy 1 from Malibu, our rental van suddenly had flat rear tire. After our rental car company could not find a tow truck, we called the CHP who sent Tom from Platinum. He arrived concerned with a smile and placed our van on his bed driving us into Ventura directly to Big Brand Tire. Platinum came through for us and we highly recommend this responsive and kind company.

The response by Platinum Towing to my comments was totally self-​serving.
Their employee was rude. We graciously complied although the request was illegal. To say that we cannot take a picture of our car because of privacy is absurd. It was our car.

I got into an accident and needed a tow to the body shop. I called Platinum because they were in town and close to the scene of the accident. Dispatcher was very nice and quick to handle my request. Tow truck driver arrived before the estimate I was given over the phone. Overall good experience.

We were given a one hour estimated arrival and the truck was there in about 10 minutes. The driver was extremely friendly and helpful, towing us to a tire shop after rightly diagnosing that he couldn’t patch our flat.

WORST TOWING EVER! My car got impounded and they damaged my car! Hopefully they get sued because I’m taking them to court! DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE SHADY SCAMMERS!

When every other tow company refused to move my 8’x20’ storage container, I called Platinum Tow. The dispatch manager was friendly and accommodating and the driver was very knowledgeable and arrived on time. On top of that their prices were very fair. I will always use Platinum Tow in the future.

It’s never a positive experience to need a Tow Truck in most circumstances, this topped with my two young children present and stranded 175 miles from home and on the side of the road on the 101 Freeway at 130 in the morning during Thanksgiving Weekend. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the most professional tow operators I have ever come across. The response time was fast, his appearance was impeccable, the tow truck was immaculate and his demeanor was kind an compassionate. This gentleman took such pride in his profession. If your in need of a tow truck, in the Thousand Oaks Area, this company provided service like none other. It’s my understanding they service from the San Fernando Valley to areas of Ventura and Camarillo.
