Previously located in Camarillo Springs. Recently relocated to Old Town Camarillo to be closer to the customers! I have 25+ years in the alterations business and have worked for small boutiques and JCPenney’ as an Alteration expert.

I have been in the alteration and retail industry for 25+ years with extensive experience with tailoring men’s suits. I worked for small international boutiques and JCPenney’s for 15+ years before starting my own business in 2001 in Camarillo, California. Without my great cutomers I would not have the successful business I have today. All new business comes from referrals and people come from all over the Tri-​County area to have me tailor their clothing. I feel my work is valued by my customers which gives me the confidence to provide exceptional customer service to each and every individual.

I took my bridesmaids dress in as it needed a hem and to be taken in at the waist and bust. I had concerns because it has a lot of intricate beading on it. She was polite and was thorough with her measurements and told me the beading was no issue. We made a pick up date of the 6th. I called the morning of the day I was expecting to pick it up and she let me know it would be done that afternoon and that she would call. She called a little after 530pm that evening and said she was staying late and that I could come by and pick it up. I came in and she was all ready expecting me, had me try it on, and it was perfect. She was upfront about the cost and was polite through the whole experience. I highly recommend Lili’s Alterations.

So I bought my wedding dress online and when I got it, it fit so akwardly. I was in tears because I was convinced that it wasn’t fixable. I had heard of Lili from my mother in law, and decided I’d give this fix a chance. Two weeks later, I went and the dress was beautiful. I couldn’t believe the work she had done. My dress was lace, backless and hard to work with, it she did it! Highly recommend!!! Seriously, don’t go any where else. She saved the day and saved my wedding!!!

She did a wonderful job fixing my prom dress. It was so long I was swimming in it. My dress was extremely difficult to work with and I was quoted between $ 150-​$ 200 at other places. She only charged me $ 45!!! I felt so beautiful and I was comfortable with the new length– I didn’t have to worry about stepping all over it. Great place!!!

From a work stand-​point, Lili’s meets all my needs. I don’t get a lot of tailoring done and it is mostly jeans for my wife and I, but the fact that Lili’s can put the original hemmed bottom back on and make it look so great has been a lifesaver for us. her prices are responsible for the work, though her time-​table isn’t always of the utmost concern.
From experience to setup realistic expectations, here is what I would say: If you need the item by a specific date, request 1 week prior if its a month or more out. Call 4 or 5 days before the due date and inquire if it will be ready on time. It’s likely it hasn’t been started yet so its a good reminder for Lili and will get you your garment on time.
Should you have to go through that trouble, not likely, but you are dealing with one person who’s work is pretty darn good, so you decide if you are willing to deal with the extra hassle. After one drive from Oxnard to Camarillo to pick something up and hearing it wasn’t ready on the date, I employed the above method and have not had a problem since. Should I have to do that, of course not, but everything meets my expectations if I do, so I will continue to do so to get that great work that Lili does.
That’s the reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars, but otherwise, I’ve been very happy.

I have been going to Lili’s for about 5 months… So happy with her work and fair prices! The one reason I can’t give her a 5 is because on a few occasions she has told me to come in on a certain day and my items weren’t ready … Went back a second time and again they weren’t ready. A little frustrating when she is the one telling you to come back at a certain day and time… Over al she is great with her work…

Lily is great! Her work is impeccable and very timely. She fit me for my wedding gown 3 years ago for an extremely reasonable price and worked on it for weeks until it was perfect. Since then I bring all of my garments to Lily. Jeans, jackets, my husband’s suits, dresses, you name it. She had a bad reputation because of Alayna’s bridal, but that place is long gone.

We found Lili’s after trying Flavio’s. They really botched a simple hemming of my wife’s suit (legs dramatically different lengths). While attempting to correct their error, they treated us poorly.
After asking around the nearby Camarillo Outlet and getting a dozen or so positive recommendations for Lili’s, we took those pants to lili, and never looked back.
Over the subsequent years, Lili has always provided excellent service for my wife and me. We are both designers with critical eyes, and she almost always has met our VERY high expectations. Out of the score of times we have used her, there have only been a couple of times she has flubbed the job. Those few times she missed the mark, she corrected the small errors with due expedience and precision.
Lili has always conducted herself with professional aplomb and quiet charm. Pragmatically, her prices are fair and she works quickly enough, if you have reasonable expectations for excellent work.
In stark contrast to the other alteration shop in town, Lili clearly shines.

Lili is the best tailer in town. She has altered slacks, jeans, a velvet jacket, a suit jacket and is currently working on altering a leather jacket for me. Her work is superb and she always has it ready when she promises. I will continue to take everything I have to Lili.

Tells you one price, then charges almost double after already working on the item. Horrible social skills. Does decent work, but she is in with Alayna’s Bridal a few doors down and their equally horrible.
