Lazy Dog Kennels

We highly recommend this kennel if you are going for a short or long vacation. Its not only affordable, but the staff are very knowledgeable of animal behavior and care. They have a few absolutely beautiful out-​door interaction areas based on the temperament and or size of your dog. The day I went for a visit and they explained the dogs hourly schedule and showed me their facility it made me that much more comfortable to leave my dogs with them.
I’ve been bringing my three dogs to this facility for about two years. We just took a long vacation for Easter/​beginning of spring break. Our pups have been there for a week and came home very tired, (as they always do) which to me shows they had an eventful time at Lazy Dog Kennels. Thank you and your staff for being so kind to our furr-​babies.

DO NOT TAKE YOR DOG HERE! My dog was here for 3 days. We come to pick her up and she has TWO HUGE HOLES on the side of her mouth! She was anxious and whining when we picked her up. We showed a male staff member the wounds and he could give a fuck less. Fuck that guy. The staff claimed the wounds were self inflicted. We took her to the veterinarian and he said that he couldn’t prove it either way, but his concern was how deep they were and looked like bite marks. The staff’s lack of accountability and ability to notice an injury could put your dog in danger, STAY AWAY!

Left my dog here over the weekend by recommendation of a friend. I must say I was absolutely pleased with the service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any of my concerns. My dog is a part of my family so leaving him behind made me a bit uneasy. When I returned to pick him up I think they may have spent more quality time with him than I usually do (guilty to say). They are extremely reasonable on their pricing and they keep a very sanitized and clean facility. Overall pleased with their service. We will definitely be back when in need of their service.

We started using Lazy Dog Kennels this year because the pricing was great. Our dogs always have a great time and are worn out from playing but always in good shape when we pick them up. The staff is always friendly and seem happy to see us and our dogs when we come. I’m very happy that we found them and we will continue to use them in the future.

Our family has been bringing our dog to Lazy Dog for over 3 years. The employees are caring and our dog’s excitement as we enter the driveway is proof of the wonderful environment there. The ability to run and play in a free range area leaves him happy ang tired. Just what his energy level needs. We use both daytime and when needed overnight boarding. Ann the owner is a wonderful individual and always helpful with any of our needs

Boarded our dog here because we were out of options. Did not get a good vibe from any of the employees working there. I got suspicious when they told me they couldn’t give me a tour of the facilities except at a specific times. When they brought our dog back out, they had a choke collar on her even though she had a regular collar to attach an normal leash to. Four days later we noticed she was infested with flees. Thanks for hooking us up with that:-(.

Boarded my dog here over 5 days. The process was incredibly informal and they couldn’t give me much information on anything. I was pressed for time since other local kennels were packed due to a holiday, so I chose this one as it was the only one with a vacancy. Upon picking my dog up, his entire nose was scabbed and still partially bleeding. When I asked how my dog did over the week, they could not give me any information or as to why he was all scabbed. Will not be bringing him back here again.

I have been bringing my dogs to Lazy Dog Kennels for several years now. My dogs have always been well taken care of and I have never had any problems. I love the big yard that the dogs are able to play in. I also respect the owner’s knowledge of dogs and dog behavior. I highly recommend Lazy Dog Kennels to anyone out there looking to board their dogs.

We’ve been taking our dogs here for a long while — I’ve always had great experiences with the staff and I can tell our dogs spend a lot of time out of the kennel because they fall asleep immediately after we bring them home :)
Kennel is priced very reasonably and has good availability.

I have been using Lazy Dog Kennels from the time it’s opened. We have never had any problems with the treatment or conditions in which the dogs have been cared for! As a professional dog handler, I am very concerned for the care and well being of our K9s, and feel completely safe leaving them in the care of Lazy Dog Kennels.
I have noticed in the past few months major improvements at the kennel. They have hired new employees and made the kennel house much nicer!
We will continue to use this kennel when we leave town. Thanks Ann for taking care of our boys!

When we got our dog back, we found a giant scab on his haunch. When we cleaned the wound, it had a fang puncture under it. They didn’t tell us anything had happened nor did they seem to have treated it. If you want your dog back in the same shape you left them in, I would keep looking…
