Kevin’s Precision Wheel Alignment & Automotive

Today is 4÷1÷16 and this is not a joke. Kevin left me, my husband and 3 children ages 3,5 and 7 sitting outside of his shop with a car that won’t start. He told my husband that he is working alone and can’t do the job, that it is too much for one person. That I u derstans, but why call at 630pm as you are closing and tell my husband this. Why didn’t he call earlier rather than leave our whole family stranded with an hour or more wait for a town truck! We chose Kevin because of his Unilocal reviews, now I know that 5 stars means nothing at all. So disappointed!

If you own a porsche, Kevin is your man. He can do anything you want or set to factory settings.

A good honest repair place that I can actually send someone to and not have to worry that they will get ripped off. Plus, they do an excellent alignment job, blows away anyplace else in town. or Ventura County for that matter.
Looks like he always strives to do things right. Perhaps costs a little more, but in the big picture, they give the BEST value.

I was looking for someone who could do a proper alignment, not what passes for an alignment at the tire retailers.

Did the job at a fair price.
The alignment is spot on and I am a happy camper.

Kevin does amazing. He is the guy that wants every customer be happy with their car. The price may little higher than other shops. But u get what u pay for.. This is the shop that i would recommend to my friends and family.

I hesitate writing this review for fear he will be too busy to maintain my car. Kevin is THE most honest person you could ever meet. Not only is he an expert in what he does, he conducts his business with so much integrity. I could never write enough to say how glad I am that I found this business. He and his wife and son all work in the business together. The waiting room was designed with ALL people in mind. Nice music, comfortable seating, coffee, candy, sometimes fruit, and the best magazines that are all current. What I am saying is, the entire experience is top notch from the second you call all the way through pick up.
I am very particular about my car, you see, it is a 20 year old Honda that I have maintained to the book, I don’t cut corners ever. I typically watch while someone works on my car because I don’t trust anyone to care for and respect my old car. But, I met Kevin, and I totally trust him with my car. It took me 19 years to find him, and I will always take my car there. My fiancé now takes his car there too.
Kevin uses authorized Honda parts on my car, and then goes the extra mile to ensure any and all jobs are perfect. If I could give him more stars in Unilocal,I would. I just had my brakes done, and Kevin stayed late just to finish my car. He even took the time to explain in detail what he did. He educates me as well. How cool is that?
I am proud to recommend him to friends because I know he treats everyone the same way he treats me. If you want to be treated well and want the job done right, go to Kevin’s. You won’t be disappointed.

Kevin was the best to work with. He was very polite and professional. I came in for a wheel alignment after a new tire purchase. Dropped off my Celia for a few hours and Kevin called when it was ready. His work was spot on. I previously went to a Firestone and there «alignment» was not even close to Kevin’s work. His print out and detailed explanation was spot on. Thanks for the great work. If you ate in need of a great alignment don’t hesitate to call Kevin.

I found out about Kevin’s shop through recommendation from the Lube Shop where I take my car for oil changes. I had recently purchased new high performance tires at America’s Tire Depot and wanted to also get an alignment so the tires wear out evenly but found out they do not do alignment… hmm tire shop but no alignment, go figure, but I digress.
So I called Kevin and had to make an appointment two days later since they were booked (which is probably a good sign that they are busy). I went in and as others have stated, the place is very clean and run very well as a small business. I had a chat with his wife while Kevin worked on my car. He thoroughly explained the specifics of the alignment and what was done on my car.
Of course the price is not the lowest you will find, but you DO get what you paid for. He has state-​of-​the-​art alignment machine and my car drove much better after the alignment than before. I fully support honest, hard-​working small businesses like Kevin so I felt good about the whole exchange.
I also knew I needed new struts from what the dealer informed me during a recall repair and Kevin informed me the also works on shocks/​struts/​brakes as well. I believe he doesn’t do big engine work or transmission swaps or other more internal repairs but he performs all the external items. To make the long story short, I was able to replace my struts at a very reasonable price as well as replace my brake pads and get my rotors resurfaced. Since he replaced my struts, he did not charge me again to redo the alignment.
It cost me a good deal of money, but was still substantial savings over a dealer and I got excellent service as I expected. I will keep coming back to Kevin’s business and I encourage everyone to come here for alignment, brakes, struts.

I had to go out of town the next day, but they were able to schedule something same-​day; Kevin even stayed a bit later to finish the job. The receptionist was very friendly and it was a great experience overall. Very trustworthy, very knowledgeable, and good business.

Kevin spent the time to explain the specifics of my car and gave me great, honest advice. I am picky about my car and I rarely find a mechanic that I like and trust. Going to an auto mechanic is right up there with getting a tooth drilled for me. Kevin took all the worry and pain out of my experience! His depth of knowledge and ability to explain things to me made me feel comfortable and safe. He did an impeccable job and his pricing is honest. Never has this old widow lady felt so comfortable in an auto shop. This was my first time but won’t be my last. And great holiday decorations as well!

Nice, reliable auto mechanic, trustworthy family-​run business, friendly service and a comfortable place to wait (what more could you ask for)! I take my truck to Kevin for oil changes and all repairs — I feel comfortable knowing that our baby is in good hands. Best mechanic I have been to in two years.

Kevin and his wife are IT! If you need any repairs on your vehicle, STOP LOOKING AND CALL! I work on all my own cars. It’s fun for me and I take pride in it. I built a 1997 Chevy C1500, lifted in 10 inches, did some other brake and steering mods, etc, and when it needed alignment, I had to look hard for someone that could do it on my truck as with my mods, the stock alignment shops were not going to cut it. I was recommended to Steve, I took the car in the next day, 4 hours later the truck was straight as an arrow! I couldn’t believe it. I have never been so happy to hand over my money to his wife.

I called Kevin’s Precision because they have the highest ratings. I told his wife that my malfunction indicator lamp was on, and that I wanted to bring it in to have it looked at. She asked me the year, and I told her my car is a 2012. She said, that it would be covered under warranty, and I wouldn’t have to pay anything if I just brought it into my dealer. I really appreciated their honesty, so I thought they deserve a 5 star rating.

got new tires put on the 1999 honda accord. michelin primacy mx4’s. noise, wheel wobble, poor ride all gone. i decided to get new tires (tires too badly damaged). thanks to rg wheel and alignment! oh and to answer to john p — i have-​no problems buying new tires, if needed. still have the wheel pull but its not a tire problem. ps the four stars are for rg brake and alignment not you kevin!

Quality service and excellent customer service. Went to Kevin for tire mount/balance/alignment…without a doubt the best alignment I’ve ever had on any vehicle I’ve ever owned. Tried multiple places ie. firestone, big brand (they all had bad alignments, steering wheel was always crooked). Told Kevin the service I recieved from those places and he said «Don’t worry I’ll take care of you.» And boy did he ever! His wife at the desk is the coolest person you’ll ever deal with at customer level. Place is clean, Shop is clean and Service is second to none!

Don’t know why Bill W. would post a bad rating… guess he didn’t want to spend $ on new tires. Kevin is an alignment specialist (over 40 years experience) and performs his craft extremely well. He is detailed oriented and explains what is required to get your car running to its optimum level. Kevin does not advertise and basically a word of mouth business and unlike your typical automotive shop he won’t sell you a bill of goods you don’t need. I am a first time customer and will most likely be a lifetime for all wheel and alignment needs. Honesty, dedication and professionalism goes a long ways in this business and his reputation precedes him.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic, go to see Kevin. Kevin and his wife started their business when Kevin left Cook’s Tires — where we always took our car. KEvin’s shop and reception area is clean and professional. Kevin will give you his honest opinion and will work with you to make the most out of your budget. Kevin really cares about his customers and their cars!

Outstanding and quality work. The sidewalls on my RV tires were deterioriating making the tires unsafe to drive for any distance, so I called Kevin. He was able to get me a great price, and I was able to get in and out with my new tires in less time than he had predicted. And of course, he will rotate the tires for me for free when ever it is needed. Yeah.

We took our cars to Kevin for years over at Cook’s Tire in Camarillo. We were so disappointed when he left there and we couldn’t find him. But, now we found he has opened his own shop! This is very good news. We have a couple of classic cars, a large diesel truck and assorted passenger cars. Kevin can align them all perfectly. He goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. My husband’s model of Infinity is known for alignment problems but not one problem since Kevin started working on it.
