I have been seeing Joshna for 10 years! She has been doing my brows since I moved to Camarillo for college. I see her every chance I get– I moved to Sandiego and then sanfransisco and every time I came home I made an appointment. Now I’m in Santa Barbara and there is no comparison! She is the most wonderful woman and really cares about her clients and her work. A gem in Camarillo!!!

Excellent service. I have been a loyal customer to Joshna for 3 years. In addition, Joshna provide acne treatment for my teenager. She carries a variety of skin care products at very affordable prices. The great thing about it is that Josha will give us samples of the products without pushing us to buy them. I appreciate her honesty and loyalty to her customers. Joshna is very attentive and special to each one of her customers. Her hands are amazing and it tops any facial treatment I’ve ever had.

I made an appointment here because it is close to my house and from reading the reviews. After making a 6pm appointment almost a week out, i get a call a few days before the appointment telling me they are not OPEN after 6. The woman appologized but seriously? I could have called some place else and have had my facial by now. They are not accommodating of people who work normal 9 – 5 hours. I guess they only cater to the wealthy or housewives.

After being stuck in the house for a week, recovering from surgery on my foot… my first outing was Joshna’s Facial Finesse. I received an eyebrow wax and the deep cleansing facial, which I absolutely loved. First off, Joshna is a sweet lady, very easy going and even easier to talk to. She cleansed my skin, steamed it to open my pores and then extracted all of the gunk. A mask followed and then a lovely facial massage that was delightful. I wasn’t crazy about the eyebrow wax, but to her defense I have super funny shaped brows thanks for my father and no one and nothing can help that!
Joshna recommended a lot of products but did not push them on me and I really like that! Her prices are extremely fair as well… I paid $ 95 total for both of my services. She recommended that I come every 6 weeks and you know what??? I sure will. Countdown until my second visit!!! :-)

So, I went back for a facial. It was perfect! The place smelled wonderful! Joshna was gentle, while still extracting all the crap in my face :) She was very easy to talk with as well. I am definitely coming back! OH! and she gave the best massage at the end!

Wow! I went to see Joshna because of the great reviews posted on Unilocal… I’ll keep going back to her because she is truly «one of a kind!»
The moment I entered her relaxing and elegantly adorned shop, I knew I was in for an entirely different experience than I was used to when it came to getting a facial. Not only did she spend extra time with me (because my skin was in such bad shape) but she made me feel so welcomed, cared for and mostly. relaxed– which is very hard to do when you’re pinching and prodding at someones delicate nose area! The previous reviews were spot on: She thoroughly cleansed every pore on my face– and for a price that a normal person living in our community can afford. She didn’t try to sell me any high priced «products» that so many esthetician’s do and worked with me and my current skin care regimen to come up with a plan for finding something that would work for me.
A couple of tidbits about the environment:
The view of the ceiling from my table was of a beautiful sparkling chandelier, surrounded by butterflies and feathers from peacocks. The music, soothing sounds of nature and meditative chants. The smells, an apothecary of herbal essences that truly transform you from the small shop located in an older strip mall in Camarillo to a place of peace, tranquility and healing.
When I emerged from «Joshna’s Facial Finesse», I felt renewed, beautiful and mostly so happy that I «yelped» her in the first place! Truly the best facial/​spa experience I have ever had – mahalo Joshna!

I love getting facials and really see them as more of a necessity than a luxury — preventative care, if you will. I decided to look for a new place and try someone different, and after some light internet searching, I headed to Joshna’s.
Joshna’s has been here for as long as I can remember, but for some reason I always thought it was a store — I never really looked at it, I suppose. It wasn’t until I saw the website that I realized that they perform services there, and from the site it seemed that Joshna really loved and cared about what she did, and that (paired with the various reviews I had seen) was enough for me to give it a try.
First off, the atmosphere is lovely. Beautiful fabrics and decorations, various scented oils and similar items for sale, the whole place has a bit of an exotic/​spiritual feel to it. I had opted for the Intensive Deep Cleansing facial, but she does offer a variety of different facials — this was one of the reasons I felt confident in coming to Joshna’s, that she recognized the need for different facials and had customized options, unlike many spas where your options are either «30 minute» or «60 minute,» or something along those lines. I have enlarged pores that are very prone to congestion, and when I came in to see Joshna, it had probably been close to two months since my last facial, and «intensive deep cleansing» was exactly what I needed.
Joshna came in and spoke to me briefly before the facial, immediately recognizing and addressing my large pores, asking me what sorts of skin issues I felt I had, and what products I used. Then it was time for the BEST facial I have EVER had!
I don’t even know where to start describing how wonderful her service was. First of all, every step of the process was so relaxing! When Joshna moved her hands over my face, it felt like a 6-​handed massage. I have no idea how she perfected this technique, but I can honestly say that her motions were so smooth and masterful that even the parts of the facial that were NOT a massage (I’ll get to that later) FELT like one! Her years of experience are obvious as soon as she touches your face.
Secondly, I felt that the products Joshna used really enhanced my experience, because it was like having an aromatherapy treatment! As if I weren’t already about to drift off, the lovely, natural scents of the different products relaxed me even further during my hour.
After the cleansing and exfoliating, she left me to steam for quite awhile, longer, I think, than I have been steamed during other facials. That was fine with me — I was so relaxed I would have stayed under the steamer for an hour.
Now came the «intensive deep cleansing» portion! Now let me tell you, I have had PLENTY of facials in the past, and I am familiar with the process of extractions. I know some people have a problem with them as far as pain is concerned, but I have never really been one of those people, I’m only really sensitive in the skin around my nose, but even then I wouldn’t complain… I pretty much always feel like I could do with MORE extractions than the aesthetician is able/​willing to perform.
I can honestly say that I think Joshna extracted EVERY. SINGLE. PORE. on my face. I have NEVER had a facial where someone was so meticulous with their extractions! Around the outsides of my nostrils, all along my lip line, that hard-​to-​get-​to spot where your nostril meets your face… EVERY PORE! I could not have been happier with her determination to get ALL of that stuff out of my face. And although I have never had a problem with pain during extractions in the first place, I would wager to say that Joshna is gentler than most.
After the extractions came the REAL treat: the massage. HEAVEN. A facial massage as well as neck and shoulders… I don’t think I’ve ever truly had a facial massage before, but this was hands-​down unbelievable. When she was massaging around my eyes… she uses the lightest, most delicate touch you could ever imagine right in the area under your eyes, kind of almost like she’s drawing a design with her fingertip, then goes around your eye and eyebrow applying light pressure at different points… I can’t even possibly describe how amazing it was! The massage absolutely sealed the deal for me… Joshna is the ONLY choice for a facial
When my hour was over and I checked out my face, I could see the result of her meticulous extraction… I couldn’t find a clogged pore on my face if I had a microscope. And with the size of my pores… trust me, that is saying a lot. Even today, the day after my facial, my skin looks as smooth as it did when I walked out.
I could not have been more satisfied with my experience with Joshna. She is a warm, welcoming person, the atmosphere is what it should be, and the service was absolutely top-​notch. I know some people may be wary of dropping the money for a facial, but Joshna’s is absolutely worth every penny. I will definitely be back in 4 to 6 weeks!

My Mom actually recommended me to Joshna’s… and seeing the rave reviews before me didn’t hurt either. :P I went to her for an eyebrow tweeze, but ended up getting an eyebrow wax. The tweeze is $ 20, wax is $ 15.
She has a small location, nearby the Bread Basket (yay).it’s right off the Las Posas exit. Anyways, I got to the app early and waited for about 10 minutes til the time of my app. She was ready then, and took me into a small room right next to the front lobby. Her decorations made it feel like I was in a canopy! There were some bright lights at the top of the canopy, where her decorative sheets met… Anyways– back to the brow situation!
I used to get my eyebrows threaded in Santa Barbara but since moving to Camarillo, I had to find a new lady. and think I found her with Joshna! She took awhile. about 15 – 20 minutes, longer than any other brow app I’ve had. She waxed, plucked a few strays, and trimmed the hairs (more that I’ve ever had, but it works– cuz my brows look ‘in shape’ regardless now).
Then – she smoothed on a great lavendar smelling gel. Oh it was so nice and relaxing! I felt so calm after leaving my appointment. and that was only for an eyebrow wax! I would like to get a facial with her in the future, but they are too pricey for me now (they range around $ 90).
