While the delivery was fast, the food left a bit to be desired. The wings are pretty good, the mozzarella sticks are decent — not great, and the pizza crust left a lot to be desired. It was dry on the bottom, doughy in the middle, not good. And the toppings were a little skimpy. Not somewhere we’d order from again.

Flat out awesome owner. Really helped set us up given my wife and I brought our toddlers to dine in. Would appreciate if they get a couple high chairs or boasters.
Very nice location in rather upscale area. Felt safe and festive actually. Owner was gracious in bringing us water tableside. We really wished we liked the pizza itself much more.
However, given the high review and longevity and duration they’ve been in business; obviously, most people love it. We look forward to trying their spaghetti and subs soon.

One of my favorite pizza places in Camarillo! They have great specialty pizzas and the toppings are generous on them. Best for takeout as the dining area is small, 10 seats or so. A little pricey, but it is worth it to support a local business that serves good food!

This place has been around for most of my childhood and I can honestly say that it’s one of my favorite pizza places. I think their cheese pizza is great, but their Thai pizza is from another world. I’ve never had it anywhere else because no one could do it justice like double play does. If you’re craving pizza, this is the place to go to in Camarillo!

I haven’t eaten their pizza but I love to make pizza at home and they sell THE BEST pizza dough! I use theirs every time and my pizza always come out fluffy but crisp on the bottom, the staff is nice and answered all of my questions regarding cooking with their dough!!! Yum yum yum!

I work at the Vons in the same plaza and I go to Double Play sometimes for lunch. They have a great lunch special which I usually get; this includes a personal pizza (1topping – wish there were two but you have to pay $ 0.99 which is a bit much) and a salad and a drink. I like this better than your average pizza chain and would recommend to those on a budget for lunch

My fiancé and I had this pizza for the first time tonight, and we loved it! We wish we had tried it sooner! We had a large pizza, one half, pepperoni, olives, and jalapeño, and the other half, basil, tomato, and garlic. It was awesome, and we can’t wait to go back!
Staff was extremely friendly as well, which made it that much better!

A great family own small pizza store. We tried ranch chicken thin crust pizza which was well blended with veggie and chicken. Also, it’s not greasy and salty. I will definitely return!
Note: they only have very limited number of seats, maybe togo is their main business.
