Have you ever been surrounded by children whose love of learning is so tangible it feels as if you can touch it? This is the feeling I experience each day I pick up my children from Carden Heights. When my son started at Carden at age four he was a shy boy who did not speak a lot. After a month I was pleased to see how my son was developing a sense of self full of confidence in his abilities. Gone was the little boy who did not want to speak in front of others and a year later he was replaced by a confident child who placed second in a speech tournament held at school at age 5. I have witnessed the progress my children have experienced since they started attending Carden on a daily basis. The best part about Carden Heights is that it ensure all students’ thrive academically regardless of their learning levels. Some students may learn slower than others however Carden teachers analyze student progress and ensure that all students understand class concepts completely thus personalizing the learning experience for each student. Teachers empower children to know what is needed to achieve their goals and to have the self discipline to do so. Carden Heights is a great school with amazing committed teachers and parents aiming toward providing a bright future to our children. My son started in Kindergarten. He struggled with stuttering when he was younger. Not only was he never bullied at this school, but he was not treated any differently. He recited poems at assembly, participated in the school plays, Winter and Spring concerts, and in the speech tournament. He is now a confident 2^nd grader who is a full academic year ahead. I’m grateful for the well rounded curriculum which includes Spanish, physical education, music, art, and computer education, in addition to the traditional Carden curriculum, science, and mathematics. Every day I’m amazed by my son’s progress. In addition, I’m grateful that social responsibility is part of the school’s mission. This school year we helped an animal welfare organization, a homeless mission, and a local food bank. My son even accompanied me to drop off donations to the mission on behalf of his school. He is now even more grateful for this blessings. The Carden Heights community is very tight knit. I have become personal friends with many parents. I have attended numerous PTA meetings with my younger child in tow, who has always been welcomed. I highly recommend this school for its academics, social responsibility, and nurturing community. Lastly I love the fact that this school is a non-​profit.

A fantastic school! My husband and I have been grateful to find a private school where a broad education is key and that children are encouraged to think for themselves. The Carden method and the teachers at this Carden helped my son master his vocabulary (both written and oral) at an early age. Speech tournaments are held annually. There is no doubt that the one on one attention given to the children is a huge factor in the students success. Some grades only have a handful of kids. Imagine the impact of a teacher being able to fully teach your child. The money my husband and I have spent on our son’s tuition for the last six years at this Carden is truly worth it!
