Day before Thanksgiving at 3:45 pm only two checkers. Not kidding, 20 people in each line ! Makes the bargains not even worth it !

Dirty, crowded, no parking, bad carts, messy and un organized. I’d rather drive to the one in newbury.

Should be called NOT the 99 cent only store. They have been raising prices consistently, and items are literally making a 100%-200% price increase from one time to the next. Interestingly enough some of these exact items can still be found at Dollartree for $ 1 this just tells me they are Price gouging not following genuine cost increases. Some may say«It’s the 99 cent store they are still cheap» not necessarily… think about what you are getting. first off, more and more of their food is coming from china. Before you call me racist, My Chinese wife does not feel much of the food from China is safe… so don’t even try to go there. I can still buy Lays Stax at Dollartree made in the USA. Most of the candy, cookies, etc. are from China and Mexico. again it is about quality and safety. That being said. many of the canned food items are actually cheaper on sale at regular grocery stores, and almost always cheaper at Food4Less, Superior, Vallarta. Shop around, they have people fooled into thinking they are a great deal. Their eggs and milk always seem to be shorter dates, and given the way they stack pallets of crap in the aisle all the time, I would say they do not properly handle their food. I broke down and bought some milk there last week. It is already starting to smell a little funny. Pallets and Pallets stacked in the aisle, can’t reach anything, and they don’t seem to care. The place is dirty, at times smelly. Really needs to be cleaned, Clear the aisles. This place is really becoming a rip off and a dump

This is a big 99 cent store with lots of options, even produce. I stopped in here to browse and was happy to see some big brand name items like Martinelli’s sparkling cider(mini bottles) as well as all the major brands of candy. This store has lots of household goods, cleaning supplies, some toys, party items, greeting cards, and more. The isles were a bit cluttered and disheveled when I visited, but overall it’s a decent, usable store.

.99 cent store please clean up your act. For starters your parking lot is covered with litter. Wash down your side walk and shopping carts. The men loitering outside is not attractive and makes me not want to come here. Keep your floors clean. I do like the recent restructuring of the isles. I am a fan of coming here for specific items. So I truly hope the cleanliness of this store improves.

Thank you Cousin Jimmy. Belly Flops Rock !!! And the 99cent only store is the perfect place to get them ! Probably wouldn’t hurt to sweep the floor though.

I came in to this store not expecting much only to come out with more than I bargained for. I couldn’t believe how much I got out of $ 10 from this place! This place has been a life saver for me and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to people who are under a extremely tight budget!

I came to this $.99 store with high expectations, I figured early morning the store might be empty, since most people shop after leaving work, boy was I wrong long lines with only 2 registers open, plus the aisle are taller then most $.99 stores, meaning you have to run around the store to find certain items, which at this store it’s like a needle in a hay stack. Since the store is smaller then most $.99 stores it’s also more congested in the aisles with less product then most $.99 stores. Also beware it might cause claustrophobia, if you do visit this $.99 store look around every corner you will be surprised at what you find great little knick knacks that you weren’t planning on. But hey it was $.99 cents, this store is also perfect for restocking your first aid kit with Bandages, heating and cooling pads.

I started to enter this store in Camarillo. I saw both trash cans full from days of not emptying the trash cans. I actually went back to my truck to get my camera because I was so disgusted. I actually thought for a moment I was somewhere in rundown Oxnard. The whole front of this store is filled with trash, so much trash has blown out of the trash cans you have to walk through the trash to enter the store. The trash is filling the parking lot. There seems to be many intoxicated homeless people in this parking lot and I’m starting to see one of the main reasons is not caring what the front of your store or your parking lot looks like and not caring about the city you store is located in. Or it could be the .99 cent wine bottles they sell that keeps the homeless intoxicated. I would recommend the city stepping in and forcing businesses like this one to clean up their trash or face huge fines. Avoid this filthy corporate store at all cost-it is the only way these huge corporations will begin to clean up their act because as soon as they pay Unilocal for advertising then these bad reviews disappear so just stop going to these stores that believe they don’t have to clean their own trash cans — I’m still amazed as you can see from the photos, these employees, these managers, these owners just do nothing about it because stupid consumers ignore the trash in their community all to save a buck.

Camarillo 99 Cents Only Store, I believe, is the best among all 99 Cents Only Stores in the county. I enjoy the music they play. They display seasonal items on time that I feel festive for upcoming season. Shopping there is always pleasant. They do good job to keep the place clean. I shop there once or twice a month. Sometimes I walk out empty handed. But, sometimes I hit the jack pot. I find $ 6 summer sausage, turkey meat, or other fancy name brand items. You never know what you will find. So, I visit my Camarillo 99 Cents Only Store regularly. 99 Cents Only Store comes in handy to me because I know what I want. They carry a lot of low quality products. But they will not sell you bad products. All products must pass government standard.(I didn’t check it personally, but I’m pretty sure. That’s how we do business in America.). They sell items such as salt, ice, and tortillas for 99.99 Cents. To me it’s stupid to go elsewhere for exact same items and pay double. Money smart people shop at 99 Cents Only Store. We may be picky, but we shop there. If you are tight with money, 99 Cents Only Store is a heaven sent. I believe 99 Cents Only Stores are vital part of our community. I thank them for being there.

I’m giving this store 5 stars cause I love that little«you who» noise the machine makes when it scans your products(I could listen to that all day). Bottom line is your at a 99 cents store if you write a bad review then you probably should seek professional help. If you need a shopping fix and only have $ 20 this place is for you

Best store out there. What people don’t realize is that the 99 takes items that were overstocked at other stores. They have name brand items. You find things there that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. With todays economy, its good to know that these types of stores are available. Both my daughters work at the 99 and love it. They meet a variety of interesting people ;). If you haven’t tried, give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

This location is my 1st experience with 99 Cents Only Stores… and I’ve been hooked ever since! The hilarious thing about this 99 Cents Only Store compared to the San Diego location that I routinely shop at is that this location SELLS $ 1BOTTLESOFWINE. No, I don’t suggest it. Here’s what I tell everyone: Unless you have the type of income that enables you to not care at all about the amount of money you spend, you should be doing at least 50% of your grocery and household shopping at a 99 Cents Only Store.

You can get some cheap things for your baby here, like bibs and booties, but for goodness sake, don’t buy anything here that your baby is going to put in its mouth, like toys, bottles or pacifiers. It seems like every week something is being recalled that is sold in dollar stores, made in China and filled with lead. I also like to buy random food things here. For me, not the baby.

Formerly a Sav-On, this location is in front of the bowling alley and off to the left of Tapatio. It’s situated in one of the poorer sections of Camarillo(a.k.a. «Barry St.») I remember at the end of my college tenure people were always talking about $.99 beer. I don’t even want to know what brand that could possibly be, but I wonder how much it would take you to get drunk? I swear that they should put one of these stores everywhere. Now I have the confidence knowing that if I ever become homeless, I can live inside of my car and shop at 99 Cents Only stores! When I am in this store, I’m usually getting chocolate snacks/drinks, batteries, and miscellaneous crap when I’m thinking of it. Now it’s time to find a good parking lot where I can live!
