Paducah / I-24 / Kentucky Lake KOA

Called to make a reservation, very helpful and convenient! When we arrived they gave us the choice of campsite, we chose one close to the bath house, not realizing it was close to the still water pond. Before going to dinner we went to use the restroom to find no soap to wash our hands in the dirty bathroom (Wasn’t the worst I’ve seen but close to it, considering there is a sign that says the bathrooms are closed 10am-​11am for cleanings). After dinner went to take a swim in the pool and wasn’t impressed with that either. I think this campground has a lot of potential with the friendly staff but they need more help with the maintance. We were so uncomfortable with the humidity and mosquitos we packed up and left for our haul to Iowa before 11 pm.
