Honeys Chicken

Very good customer service and the honey dipped chicken was great !!! Will be visiting here over harold’s !!!

A friend of mine recommended this place and posted a picture of their honey bbq wings on his FB page and I was shocked because it was in the neighborhood and I had never heard of it! I decided to give them a try. He warned me that they may not be fast to pick up the phone for a to go order during peak times, but when I called during dinner time on a Friday, they picked right up! The young lady that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful, something that doesn’t always happen when you’re calling a carryout spot and you have questions! I got to the restaurant and it was clean and the cashier was very friendly. My food came fast and it was apparent that it was FRESHLY prepared (unlike some other places that are famous for par-​frying their chicken early in the day and then finishing it off when you order, which gives you an oil soaked, flavor compromised piece of chicken!) because it was piping hot! I ordered the honey bbq wings, which are prepared in their special honey bbq sauce. They were AHHHHMAZING! That sauce? They’re served with fries below them that were good as well! Did I mention that the sauce was good?
Chicken is the name on the marquee, but they also sold ribs, a fish sandwich, and a few other things that I’m going to try if I can stop eating those wings!
Finally, they’re right in front of another wing place that’s good. They’re not as cheap as the other wing place, but they’re still reasonable and their honey bbq wings are better tasting!
