Established in 2000.
I felt the corporate world was not giving me a chance to utilize all of my talents. It was the same cubicle day after day. From my business plan to the present, I am learning so much about me! My talents have expanded, which would never have happened before this.
After many rejections from banks, I finally got my first break. I opened the doors in June 2000, with 3 tanning beds. Within a few months, I added one more unit and within the year, I purchased one more tanning bed-NO LOANS!
Sometimes trade shows can cause unwise investments. Yes, I have made some expensive errors. One was purchasing a water massage bed. It never paid for the cost of it, so be careful when attending one.
Now, I have 10 tanning units, a sunless booth, and the massage bed. I have space to grow and a great new landowner. Just imagine what you could accomplish if you decide to go out on your own.

Born in Southern Maryland, it was hard to fit into this county. All who attended my school in the 6th grade were born here, so were their mother and fathers, grandparents, and great grandparents (you get my drift?).On top of that my dad’s career consisted of the navy. Any serviceman back then was not paid well for all of their sacrifices. Many times when dad was overseas we did not have anything to eat except a can of chili soup by Campbell’s. UGH! I hated it as a child, but I feel it made me into a stronger woman today. My parents never talked to me about my future plans because it was just assumed that I would be a housewife. Yes, I did marry because I HAD to get married, but my life was not like my parents’ lives. Now, after I raised my 3 wonderful children by myself, I have been a successful business owner for 12 yrs. I am happily married to my husband and look forward to more challenges.
