History

Established in 2003.

Growing up in the Napa Valley in a wine making family, I realize in 2000 that my expertise and passion was wine education. Taking all I have learned with 35 years of experience, I developed this class to share my knowledge. It’s how I learned to develope tasting notes with all the classic discriptors we’ve heard but never really understood like: chocolate, rose petals, cola, leather etc. To most of us we just smell wine, well not after you take this class.

Business Owner

I grew up at the winery with my parents learning about wine since I was 8 years old. When I graduated from St. Helena High School I left for college at UC Irvine not having the intension of returning to work in the wine industry. However a decade later I did missing the beauty of the Napa Valley and wine business.

I’ve certainly learned a lot over the years from both of my parents and over the last decade I realized my real passion is wine education. Now with over 35 years of experience in the industry I’ve come full circle working with my parents again. A fun joint venture of running their tasting room and hosting my own wine education classes. Bringing my knowledge together from my childhood, working at a cooperage and at other wineries I’ve developed a fun, hands-on sensory experience that is mingled nicely with our tasting room.
