Nestled at the base of Mt. St. Helena, Jericho Canyon Vineyard is a steeply terraced hillside vineyard. As a family, we handcraft exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc alongside winemakers Aaron Pott and Michel Rolland.

Preserving nearly 70% of the ranch as wildlife habitat, we followed the land’s contours and planted roughly 40 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our vineyard sweeps across the hills on terraces ranging from 8 to 20 feet apart and, of course, we, as a family do everything by hand.

Calistoga days routinely exceed 100°F yet drop to 50°F at night. These temperature swings along with volcanic Boomer gravelly clay loam soils ensure production of small quantities of rich, flavorful berries. With humble beginnings as grape growers, we gained notoriety in the late 90’s and early 2000’s through Rudd and Ramey Cellars’ highly acclaimed Jericho Canyon Vineyard designate wines.
