Great spot to start of end your tasting day! Super friendly staff, beautiful tasting room and lots of outside seating. I enjoyed their sparkling rose. I am not a big Zin fan, so can’t make any review on their Zin but their Cab is good! Their wine dog, Callie was sweet and well trained. Great location off the Silverado Trail No appointment necessary. We will be back on our next visit to Napa area.

Modern farmhouse appeal and tasty wines. Well worth venturing further up valley for, this place is a great find. Casual, tasteful and a variety of delicious wines, including a sparkling wine. Ryan H. is a great consultant and I highly recommend the Cabernet Franc.

Had a great experience here this last weekend. A very friendly staff and ownership. This is still a hidden gem of the area. The tasting is reasonably priced for the area. I highly recommend the sparkling wine«Kay». The outside sitting area is a low key spot to unwind and enjoy your wine, if your lucky you will get to spend some time with their dogs that are roaming the tasting room looking for attention. We will definitely be back! Brian, thanks again for the ride back to our cottage…

When you get out to Napa Valley, be sure not to overlook this new gem near Calistoga! I loved 7 of 10 wines that I tried-and that doesn’t mean I didn’t like the other 3! I am so bad with names but our server said her name started with an M like ?? Or like Mermaid! She was super chill and sweet. The ambience reminded my friends from Oregon of wineries in Oregon. Loved the clean modern design. Fell in love with Callie who let me pet her as much as I wanted. Def a lovely find… am kicking myself for not becoming a member. Will have to remedy that.

Fabulous wines at reasonable prices. The employees treat you like family as you sit on the beautiful veranda enjoying the view. A must visit when you are in the area.

This is a relative new place with a casual ambience, served by enthusiastic owner couple with a pretty wide selection of wines. We were driving by and the winery is inviting so we dropped in to check it out. It’s a relatively small tasting counter where they can serve 6 – 8 people but then it becomes crowded. It was pretty busy when we dropped by and seemed to have the ambiance of a cider or craft brewery to me. I found the wines to be typical in character(not blown away) compared to my visits to some of the more iconic wineries with decades of history.

Lovely spot with a great view and wonderful wines. This is a family run operation and we felt welcomed and were so happy when they offered us the veranda to enjoy our wine and picnic we brought. Try the Sangiovese and Sauvignon blanc. Thank you Brian Alden!

Now open to public! Gorgeous new addition to Napa Valley and Calistoga. Started by Brian Arden and his now wife, Amanda(formerly at Bell), this new winery combines the charm of a friendly, family owned vineyard, modernized architecture and takes on more traditional buildings, and kind consideration for our dear drivers and designated drivers(they have a lounge with internet for them to chill in out of the hot, beating sun!). The folks here are great, fun, and always smiling and laughing. The cute couple won’t hesitate to tell you about both the journey of their relationship or how BA Wines came to be. I really had a great time doing a cheese and wine tasting in their cave room but I also loved how spacious and gorgeous their tasting room is as well. There is also a patio area outside to sit and enjoy a gorgeous view of Calistoga.

I dropped in unannounced and was very warmly greeted by Amanda, Brian and their super sweet golden retriever. I’m fortunate enough to live in the Napa area and have tried a lot of wines and have been to a lot of wineries. Brian Arden definitely lives up to the high standard of California’s famed wine country. I love that they start the tasting with a very nice and refreshing sparkling rosé wine in which they donate a portion of the profit from it’s sales to cancer research. The wine only gets better when they pour the old vine Zinfandel(and I mean old at 150+ years). The blend is very approachable and the cab is exactly what you look for in a Napa Cab, bold, complex, well structured and a nice long finish. My favorite was the Cab Franc which is a difficult one to get right, but Brian definitely nailed it. If you are visiting Napa and especially Calistoga, I would put Brian Arden on your short list of must visit wineries.

Gorgeous place! It’s at the top of Silverado Trail but worth a trip up here. I loved the sparkling rosé and they’re doing some very interesting things with Zin. Brian and Amanda(and the dogs) were so hospitable.

Been staring at this project for awhile and didn’t even know they had opened up yet. Riding our bicycles by and saw the, «Open during construction» sign. Dropped in to try several amazing wines, a blend that will knock your socks off and met the nicest people Brian and his wife Amanda. They Kay Rose Sparkling not only has an amazing story behind it but is perfect for a warm Calistoga afternoon. The grounds are beautiful and they are not even done yet. this is a true family winery where even Brian’s dad dropped by for a visit and the family dog was equally as greeting as his humans. In love with this place, this will be a regular stop for sure.

The wine here is delicious! They have a good variety of wines: sauvignon blanc, sparkling rose, full flavored cabs, zin, and their BA blends. The tasting room is brand new and has a great view of the mountains. Amanda in the tasting room was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Brian, the winemaker himself, was also there, and was great to talk with. My wife and I had a great time hearing how they select their grapes and tasting their wines. Can’t wait to visit the next time we are in the Napa area!
