I went here for St. Patty’s Day and I had the Corned Beef sandwich and it was phenomenal! This was the best sandwich I have ever had. My husband had the bbq pulled pork sandwich which was mediocre. The other couple we were with had a caesar wrap and spicy chicken wrap which both said were good. It was a nice laid back bar and had a decent amount of seating to accommodate the busy day. Will definitely be coming back.

I come here every once in awhile for a couple of drinks and maybe some food. I’ve tried the steak sandwich with french fries and it was delicious. The steak almost melted in my mouth because it was so tender. Yummy! The drinks are good, but can get a bit pricey. I came on a Friday for the Fish Fry and I was a little disappointed. We waited a very long time for service at our table, but once the waitress came she was very friendly and prompt. When I got my order of cod, I was surprised because it came served in bite size pieces. I thought it was a strange way to serve the fish, especially since it seemed like only mine came that way. It tasted okay. I was hoping for a larger serving as well for the price. The bread was very good and came out warm and fresh. At the end of our meal, we were given a Baileys Irish shot from the bar. It was a nice way to end the meal. All in all, it was okay, but I’m hoping if I try the fish again, I have better luck next time! Shamrock can be a fun night spot for a drink, maybe some grub, and a good time with friends.

I was back home in Wisconsin on personal business last week and my brother graciously offered to take me out for a fish fry. Since I no longer live in Wisconsin, this was going to be a treat. He picked the Shamrock Pub & Grill. The first sign of trouble was after we were seated we waited quite some time with no attention, so I approached a harried looking waitress and asked if she could find our server. «I’m her,» she said«I’ve got a table of ten, I’ll be right with you.» Ok fair enough. She finally showed up and I asked her what kind of beer they had on tap. She didn’t know. Now, how can a waitress not know what kind of beer the bar has? I went and looked for myself, and saw a decent selection, including a Spaten Octoberfest. Hmmm, Februrary’s kind of late to have an Octoberfest, but I ordered one when I returned to the table. It was off, and tasted as if the lines hadn’t been flushed recently. While the other four in our party ordered cod, I was really craving lake perch. When it arrived it was cold, soggy, greasy, and full of bones. The red potatoes were actually pretty good. There was some weird ‘vegetable medley’ including califlower. As my brother picked up the tab, I have no comment on the price. But for service and food, I give this place an A. For Avoid.

Out in the middle of nowhere, where do you go to catch a drink with friends? Shamrock Pub & Grill. Small neighborhood type bar where everyone there must be a regular because everyone seems to know each other. Clean place and the staff was friendly. Reasonable drink prices. They serve food too I guess but I didn’t partake. I guess they pack it in for the Fish Fry, they were cleaning up after the night when I was in there. Pool table, darts, karaōke, and obnoxiously loud rock music. Seems like the perfect«dudes’ place to hang.

We like the shamrock because it is convienently close to home. It isn’t eactly the place we jump up and say«LETSGOTHERE!» but in a pinch its worthy of a stop. It has a pretty average menu but my kids always enjoy the food that they order. They offer a soup and salad bar which I appreciate, but I only enjoy the salad portion. I’ve tried the soups many times, but have never liked the taste of any of them. There is pleanty of room around the tables and the staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy without having lost the ‘family’ feel. There is also a bar which should not be over looked. We often times stop by to shoot a game or two of pool. Although there are only two tables I don’t ever remember having to wait very long to play a game. Even though I only gave this place 3 stars, its worthy of a try. I’d be tempted to give it more if only there were something outstanding or more memorable about the experiences I’ve had there.
