Great Macchiato’s, perfect mix of espresso and foam. The service is polite, the ambiance is super comfortable, alot of different seating… do you want to sit on a tall bar stool? a couch? regular chair? The choice is yours. They get their baked goods from Anthony and Sons(I think) the croissants were perfect. Really love this place.

Today was my first visit to Rock’n Joes. I ordered the grilled mushroom sandwich, with a few alterations to the way it was made. The woman helping us was very sweet and accommodating. Her service was great. I will definitely be visiting again. The place looks clean and the food was fresh.

I only got a hot tea because I didn’t need any late night caffeine, but I came here to catch up with a friend. Staff are nice, bathroom is clean, my friend seemed to enjoy her sandwich and caramel coffee beverage. Well decorated, free parking in the back(when there isn’t a funeral going on), and not crowded on a Tuesday evening. Good experience!

The food and drinks are amazing! The interior design is amazing! The music SUCKS. It’s completely mismatched. If you ask me it sounds like the owner sold out on the original idea. I walked in expecting to hear some Billy idol or Tom petty, something that I could rock to. Instead I got top 40’s. Kind of a disappointment. I will be back, but for take out only.

A great place to relax. Get a cup of coffee and relax in their dining area. The place is very quiet, they are very friendly. Will definitely be back for some coffee!

Came here one evening for an after dinner beverage and dessert. I went simple and just got a hot tea-which was really yummy and recommend-apple pie tea. Also, I picked up a cookies and cream pie to share with my boyfriend, oh so creamy and delicious. The ambience makes you feel like you could just hang out there all day, very chill and relaxed. I will definitely be back to try more goodies and most likely change my rate from 4 stars to 5!

Joe’s has stood the test of time.(So far) I’m happy that they’ve been here for many years now and are still going strong. Most people know that coffee is a huge part of my life! Naturally I love their coffee. Plus I’ve yet to try any dessert here that I didn’t like. But my favorite is the red velvet cake with the cream cheese icing! Friendly staff, cool music, great atmosphere. If you want a place to chill with good friends, this is it. :)

Was in here recently with a groupon. The Groupon was 3 vouchers, had two left and kindly asked the owner(middle aged man with glasses) if I could possibly use my last two vouchers in one visit as I no longer live in the area. Grumpy middle aged man says«NOPE, one voucher per day.» He was so rude and unaccommodating, like calm down, just asking for a favor. I also ordered the tomato basil soup which was pretty gross and the«gourmet» grilled cheese and it was very bland and the bread was too toasted. There’s such better establishments around, go elsewhere.

Chill place to get lunch at. They have this music theme of bands/artists from the 90s and play that music in the store as well. Nice place, usual food a coffee/tea shop would have. Id around the area id definitely stop by

Atmosphere is def cute and trendy and love that you can sit outside. What I don’t love is that there are NOGLUTENFREEOPTIONS!?? gotta get with the times to stay competitive. They do have parking in the back and on the avenue and the staff is pretty nice for the most part. They also have a fair selection of drinks. This place is just ok for me. Also need more decaf options

FANTASTIC vanilla chai and their«frozalita» drinks are awesome too. Fruit, yogurt, granola bowl is always fresh and comes out in a nice sized bowl. Although their sandwiches aren’t anything to rave about. Their chicken is like microwaved, chewy, fake chicken. Real turn off, and DEFINITELY not worth almost $ 10 for. Service is also pretty slow. Their desserts are usually yummy. My favorite is the peanut butter pie. Outstanding but slices are tiny. Ambiance is relaxing, fun, and groovy. Has cool posters and 60s vinyl all around the walls. Play list is fun and upbeat! Overall, it’s a good place to meet a friend for a drink or dessert. Not recommended to come for a meal, you’ll most likely get ripped off for low quality.

Inventive food. Fantastic cookies and cakes. A great assortment of coffee selections. Staff is always helpful. No attitudes. Very friendly. I love that they sometimes have book signings and music. Location is great– right on the avenue.

The coffee here is pretty good. Chocolate milk is meh. Free wi-fi. Overall a great, relaxing environment to do work. Great music selections. I’ve not had to put in headphones once working here. I just wish there were more plugs/outlets at the other tables instead of where the couches are so I could actually use my laptop at a table instead of a makeshift one at the window sill. Never had food here but it looks tasty from what I can see.

Looking for brunch and tired of Red Eye Café or Toast or Raymond’s in Montclair? Rockn Joe is solid alternative. The prices are cheap and the quality food is great. Coffee is great, service is friendly and the place is overall roomy and comfortable. I will be back!
