I was there today just to apply my own nail polish as I had fungus. The price was 10 which was fair and I paid 5 dollars tip but when I went out, I noticed that the girl had done a very poor job. She applied just two coats so it showed see through and not good, and around my nails was all messy. She hadn't even bother to clean it. I don't go back to this place.

Amazing nails is what I got from Beni he was so nice and really paid attention to his work ! Prices are good too! clean salon and sweet staff! This is my go to nail salon now! Thank you Beni!

I was worried I’d have a hard time finding a place I liked when I moved to Calabasas from west LA. IL love this place! Tony & Annie are so nice & helpful, Dan & Henry are a great mani/​pedi.
The place is so clean, everyone there is so nice, I highly recommend to anyone & everyone!

NEVER AGAIN! Absolutely horrible. Bad quality, dishonest. I am sorry, but this was the worst gel manicure and nail salon experience I have ever had. A gentleman worked on my gels who I am not sure has ever done this service before. He filed down my nail layers very thin, applied white nail color (French manicure) that was lumpy and had strings in it, made my nails different shapes on the left and the right hand, and didn’t seem to notice that the clear coat was wavy and never fully dried.
The salon was closing so there was not time to correct (probably a good thing) that night, so I returned the next day. The nice woman at the desk was new, agreed my nails looked really bad and apologized for not knowing who was good and who wasn’t (!) — the owner, Tony, was apparently on vacation.
I politely asked for my money back. Several of the male employees conferred and agreed to refund me $ 12 of the over $ 30 I had paid, claiming that I should not get a refund for the manicure (cuticles, etc)!!! I explained I had to get my nails done all over again somewhere else and spend over an hour of my time doing so, but they argued. I took a picture of their menu of services, which I planned to submit in a complaint to my credit card company. It was only at that point one of the employees agreed refund me $ 30.
I am sure there are a few people at this salon who do nice work, but it is very concerning that a reputable salon would have someone performing a service they are not prepared to do and even more concerning that the staff adopted the argumentative and greedy attitude they did when the job was so clearly horrible. I learned my lesson and will return to the salon I have been going to for years — a bit farther, but well worth it!

I’m very picky with my nails and how they are done. The cuticle cutting, nail filing, polishing etc all need to be perfect. I have found very few places where I leave satisfied. I go to Tina for my manicures, and I’m really happy with the service. When Tina hasn’t been available, others have done my nails, and they all really do a good job. The place was recently renovated and is clean. I would recommend this salon.

The BEST! My family and all my friends have been coming here for years and we’ve all always had the best experience. Everyone is so wonderful and they give the best manicures and pedicures around. Great prices too and the owner, Tony is amazing :)

Never been here before. My gramps wanted a manicure and I thought it might be nice to have a set of acyclic nails for the holidays. I called this morning and made an appointment for 2:00. They sat us down at 2 different manicure tables. Grampa went first of course. I was still waiting when gramps was done. So he left and went next door to Gelsons to do some shopping. It was 2:50 already when one of the manicurist came up to me and asked me if I could wait 5 more minutes. I said sure no problem. I was not in a rush so it was not a big deal to me. 25 more minutes went by while I am watching the other manicurists whose clients were done and left, started taking new clients that walked in with no appointment.
I could not believe this. I could have easily sat there for another hour or so. I got up and walked out. No one said a word to me while I was leaving.
I am absolutely shocked at the lack of common courtesy these people had. Un fucking believable. I will not only never bring Grampa in there again but I will tell everyone about this on my next YouTube Video as well.

I have been here several times and have always had a great experience. I’ve gone to Ann/​Annie before for manicures and she’s always done a great job.
Today I had Tina for my manicure and Hom for my pedicure. Wow! What a great massage by both. (I hate sloppy & soft massages). These two took their time and almost put me to sleep with their deep strokes. It was outstanding! They also both did a great job polishing — no goopy, thick polish.
I will definitely return here again. Clean, with friendly staff.

I got my manicure there this afternoon. The guy who was doing my nail was nice but they way Polish my nail was bad, two reason :
1 pretty much all nail publish where so old even when he was doing the polish he told me its old and thick
2 his next client was waiting so he rushed to do my nail
That was my first and definitely my last:((
So is about 4 hrs that I got my manicure and already messed up:(
He did so thick nail polish that I wouldn’t dry.

Usually don’t do reviews, but have been a customer for years. I love my pedicures with Kim and Christine does my nails. Christine did such a pretty design that I had to comment and show a photo. She listens to what you want and takes the time to show you what it’ll look like before going forward.

I had been coming here for 4 years. I went back recently and was told Jimmy is no longer there. I have to find him. Help. S. O. S. Does anyone know where he went?! He was absolutely amazing!

Got another Vinylux manicure here by Annie (Anh). She did an awesome job! Took her time and looks fab!

Walked in and the air quality was horrible like they are using products with MMA? The salon smelled of harsh chemicals and they need to have their air circulated as it was difficult to breath.
First of all they give you the impression that they sterilize their tools by showing u they are in a packaged bag. However if you look closely the bag is not sealed and I noticed once they use their tools they simply place the used tools back into the same plastic unsealed bag and back into their drawers!
They are to use ultraviolet (UV) sanitizing boxes to store clean and disinfected reusable metal tools which they are not doing and this potentially posses a risk to the customers of infections.
Health and Safety standards require all non-​disinfectable items, such as pumice stones, emery boards, buffers, drill bits, and cotton pads, must be disposed of immediately after use upon each client and. store all disinfected tools in a clean, covered area.
I asked for new files, new drill heads and asked they spray everything with alcohol which they did do. Tom did my nails, didn’t see his manicurist license posted and it took him forever, very uneven file job, every nail a different shape and width NEVER AGAIN. Kim did a very good pedicure but would use another nail tech. It is very expensive for the quality of service provided and wish there were more options in the area?

Expensive for mani pedi
I recently moved to the area and looking for a new place to get a mani/​pedi. After asking friends, I decided to try KT nails because i received two recommendations for it. The location is great, ample parking, next to golden spoon, I was happy. The salon itself is clean and the people who work there are friendly. I didn’t have to wait even though I was a walk-​in. They did a nice job on my nails and even cleaned my engagement ring, which is a nice little bonus. Also they didn’t try to sell me on little extras (waxing, massages, etc) that lots of the other salons try to do. But I have to say, I only gave them 3 stars because they are really expensive for a non-​spa mani/​pedi. At $ 24 for just a regular mani/​pedi I felt that was really over priced. Granted my old location was very under priced at $ 15 for mani/​pedi, I don’t feel the price tag matched the job they did. I will continue to shop around.

Okay, so I am very particular with my nails and meticulousness. Here, I do not feel the need to be loyal to anyone in particular, because everyone does a fantastic job. I can’t say this for any other nail salon. Everyone is incredibly friendly as well. I’m a little upset because everyone else feels the same way I do and they never have time for me anymore. There is no pushiness to add on services, which is great. They know that their clientele does not walk around with bedazzled nails. Kudos to KT Nails for always surpassing my expectations!

I thought I would never find anyone who could do a natural looking acrylic nail until I met Jimmy at KT Nails. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and he exceeded all my expectations! And they last well over two weeks!
The salon is clean and Tony always welcomes me by name!
I highly recommend this salon!

Jimmy does the best nails that I have ever gone too. I have been getting my nails done since the early 1980s. He is so careful and talented. They are so perfect AND THEY LAST OVER 3 weeks. I get many compliments, even after 2 to 3 weeks. I had another person do my nails when he was on vacation and my nails barely lasted a week with out breaking and chipping. JIMMY’S NAILS LOOK PERFECT AND LAST FOREVER. He has spoiled me for life!
FYI: Jimmy was referred to me by the hair salon next door. I was having a hard time finding a good nail place where I had just moved, when I saw two of the girls in the hair salon with beautiful and perfect nails I asked them and they both referred me to Jimmy. Thank Goodness!
Oh, big plus. They are not pushy there. There is no drama. Everyone is friendly, happy and calm. Great place. Located in a very safe neighborhood with great parking.

I’ve been here a few times and always felt that the service was good and prices were fair. Today I must say that I was very disappointed.
A little over a week ago I tried a gel manicure for the first time. The gentleman doing my manicure did not push (which I greatly appreciate) but I opted to give this «amazing» thing a try. Within a week the gel started peeling away from my nail bed and catching on my hair. Also the ends of my actual nails started peeling. Even though the gel manicure didn’t live up its claim of 2 weeks without chipping, etc, I must say that it still outlasted a normal manicure by at least 3 days.
It’s not that I think the application was poor per se — the gel manicure just isn’t for me.
My gripe really happened today when I went back to get the rest of the gel removed (once it started peeling off my nails I couldn’t help but continue to pick at it). I figured there might be a small charge for having it removed maybe $ 5 — my bad for not asking up front.
I was asked a couple times if I wanted a manicure which I answered no because I did not want one. When I asked about the price I was told $ 10, to which I said «wow that’s a lot.» He then smiled as if he was joking about his first response and then told me it would be no charge since I didn’t want a manicure. Immediately another woman manicurist and he began to speak. He started putting clear nail polish on my nails which I really didn’t want because as I stated twice before — I did not want a manicure. I was leaving a tip and he then questioned me for not paying. The woman responded that it was $ 10 for the removal but would have only been $ 2 more for the manicure. Wow! You cannot attempt to force me to get a manicure and expect me to ever come back.
Sorry folks, you just lost a repeat customer.
