Jeffrey Schechter, DDS

Dr. Schechter is the best dentist I have ever had. About a year and a half ago he replaced to crowns for me that I had done in Florida before I moved to California. He did a great job then and they have been great. Unfortunately, this past Friday, one of my crowns came off and I called my friend Laura who is one of his dental hygienist and asked her what should I do. She told me to call the dentist office and see if he could help me, but when I called they were already closed, but I left a message for Dr. Schechter anyway. I thought I would have to wait since the office was closed, but he returned my call within 30 minutes. Dr. Schechter told me to come in and he came back to the office and saw me to repair my crown. I am very grateful for Dr. Schechter doing this for me and for also recommending a specialist to help correct the problem that caused the crown to come off. Dr. Schechter is a class act, very professional, and knows his profession very well. If your looking for a dentist who has these qualities, and a genuine concern for what’s best for you and your teeth then he is your guy. I highly recommend Dr. Schechter and his staff,

The best! I had a groupon and went to a dentist in Tarzana who told me I needed 2 crowns and 6 fillings. He said with the discount it would be $ 2400. I had one tooth I knew was bad but everything else seemed fine and this just didn’t seem right. I went to Dr. Schechter and he told me I only needed one filling for the tooth that was hurting me. He is honest and takes time to explain what needs to be done. I was impressed with his staff as well. I would recommend him to anyone!

The staff is warm and friendly. Both doctors are caring and attentive. The hygienist is careful and tries to minimize pain.

I was referred to dr. Schechter with an urgent issue with a Front tooth — dr. Schechter just happened to be going out of town early the next morning — he actually met me at the office very early in the morning, before his flight, In order to fix my front tooth– granted, this was my first visit– my tooth looked perfect!

Dr. Schechcter is by far the best dentist that I have ever found. I had been through a lot of terrible and mediocre dentists before I found Dr. Schechcter. I had severe trauma from the dentist I went to as a child who drilled me repeatedly without Novocaine. The trauma was triggered every time I went to the dentist and it was always a terrible experience. I explained it to every dentist I went to, but it was not until I went to Dr. Schechcter that I was able to have my teeth worked on without being traumatized. He is so kind and sincere as is his entire staff, and they were very sensitive to my issues and I was able to let them go in less than a year. Now I look forward to going to Dr. Schechcter. Not only do I love seeing him and the staff, but I get the best quality dental work I’ve ever had, with no pain or anxiety. He is very good at what he does and very much a perfectionist. He is proud of his work and will not send you out of there with less than perfection. I’m giving him an extra honorary star beyond the five, he’s that good.

Great dentist. Initially, I went to see Dr. Schechter for a rough tooth that I needed to be fixed from a surfing accident. Upon seeing my teeth, Dr. Schecter warned me about other indentations in my teeth that had warn away over the years. I didn’t realize these were bad because my other dentist said not to worry about them and that they were normal. However, Dr. Schecter told me that if I let these teeth wear away more, I would have to get dental caps which would cost alot of money. Instead, he used a strong sealant to fill in the indentations. After that, he uses his artist-​like handwork to shape the new tooth to fit your bite. In the end, there was no pain and he saved my teeth from further destruction. I would recommend seeing him for an estimate before settling on a dentist.

Dr. Schechter is by far and above the best dentist that I have ever been too. He is extremely thorough and actually spends time with his patients. Not only that, but he actually tries to save his patients money. He will tell you the truth about what you need, take care of you, and not try sell you on treatments that you may not need. If your looking for a skilled, knowledgable and honest dentist, look no further. He has the very latest in dentistry equipment, and he is very current on the latest dental techniques. Dr. Schechter is one of the very few that I’ve come accoss in the medical/​dental profession, that deep down really tries to do what’s right for each patient. His staff are wonderful too. His dental hygenist (two sisters that work on different days – I always mix them up!), are both great at what they do. They also take their time to ensure that you are comfortable, pain free, and do an amazing job at teeth and gum cleaning. Cathy at the front desk is very efficient, and alway makes a friendly reminder call or sends an e-​mail to you before your appointment. My whole family has been seeing Dr. Schechter for years, now. My wife and two kids also think he’s the best. I truly am lucky to have found Dr. Schechter as our family dentist.

I went to another dentist on a coupon and they tried to charge me $ 1200 for 2 cavities. I decided to get another opinion and came upon Jeffrey Schechter. They took me in and saw me without any wait and told me it was just two cavities and they didnt charge me nearly as much. I had a great experience and I was in and out in 30 minutes. The staff is very friendly! I will be a regular here for a long time.

He’s simply the best dentist ever!!!
