Joe and Kris are lifelong residents of the St. Louis/​Metro East area. Both are graduates of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with degrees in Education. Joe has been a teacher and principal for 25 years. Kris has also been a teacher and church musician for 25 years. They are both dedicated to working with children and bringing out the best in them.

Joe and Kris have raised three daughters. They have personal experience dealing with the stress created by balancing two careers, schoolwork and extracurricular activities. They are passionate about utilizing their knowledge and experience to build a team, including the student, parent, tutor and teacher that creates confident students who achieve their goals.

History

Established in 2011.

Both Joe and Kris Morice are certified teachers, each with 25+ years of experience in the classroom. We love helping children learn, so we decided to purchase a Tutor Doctor franchise, which has a proven track record of success. Now we help children learn through one-​on-​one tutoring in the home. We train and develop our tutors, then try to create the «perfect match» between tutors and students to ensure the best possible results.

Joe has been a classroom teacher and a principal with over 25 years of experience in the education field. He has partnered with his wife, who also has over 25 years of experience in education. Joe and Kris hope to provide a learning experience that benefits the students, and provide them with the confidence they need to achieve their goals. Over the years, Joe and Kris have fine tuned their teaching techniques so that the students get the most benefit from their efforts. They then pass these skills on to their tutors, and are always available to answer questions and give advice when needed.
