Coming into the parking garage on Father’s Day was a nightmare. There was literally no free spaces in doors and tons of cars just circling like vultures trying to wait for people to move their cars. Thankfully my Father in law told us to just valet park, and did, but not without there being a line (first time I’ve ever had to line up and wait a while for the valet).
Finally getting in, we were greeted by the strong smell of cigarettes (completely normal at casinos, and like my RN teachers tell me, it’s insurance for my line of work that they keep smoking. I know horrible right? But true at the same time). *awkward laugh* Hahahaha… Ahem, the hotel floor is covered in slot machines and table games, as are most, but there doesn’t really seem to have much of a given theme to it unlike there admiringly beautiful pool area (a review I wish I could make separately). The rooms here aren’t bad looking though, they have this cool looking opaque leaf mural that separates the bed room for the bathroom that gives the feel that it’s semi see through (this may be awkward for two or more couples sharing the room). But otherwise, the room looks somewhat modern and have comfortable beds.
I’d definitely recommend Morongo to anyone looking to stay the night, though don’t go expecting it to look like The Cosmopolitan or Venetian.

I stayed a night at the Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa in Cabazon, CA on 6÷13÷2016. It was my 1^st time there. I stayed in room #20 412. It was a spacious bedroom with a very nice bed but what impressed me the most was the bathroom. With a large shower area, I found it to be one of the nicest bathrooms of any hotel that I’ve ever stayed at,

Can’t complain too much — Morongo has been upgrading their casino, parking, and including a hotel now on the property. It’s clean, easily accessible, and plenty of parking for everyone. One gripe? Their ventilation system: It’s always a bit musky all over. I know there’s smoking but there has to be a way to clean/​filter the air.
Good place for drinks as well, there’s a few bars with tables around it (in the center) or on the side, plus slot machines.
Plenty of table games ranging from $ 10 min bet to a huge bet. They don’t have traditional roulette, but a mystery card roulette to bet (creativity points).
If gambling isn’t your thing, you’re in luck. There’s the desert outlets right next door.

I called and tried to make a reservation for 10 rooms for a wedding near by. But was told I need to talk to someone else who isnt in for a block that big. I made a reservation for 2 rooms and requested the person call me for the block. This was nearly four months in advance.
No one ever reached out even after I called and left four messages, 2 voicemails, numerous emails and a written note at front desk. I had to cancel the reservation since I could only book 2 and not 10. So I did so about a month later. … then the day comes by and I am charged for the rooms.
Tried to reach out again to solve the charge, no one wants to talk to me. Customer service is a zero. Problem still not solved. Maybe this way someone will reach out…

This used to be a good place but FORGET IT NOW! First, if you are not ASIAN, you might as well go home. They only cater to the ASIAN community and by walking into the place you can tell as you would think that you have walked into China. Even the VIP room is decked out ONLY in Asian décor. Don’t get me wrong, but what about the WHITE PERSON’S money. Hosts are typically very robotic and have NO POWER to give any type of voucher’s. Meeting the PRESIDENT of the United States is easier then trying to get a voucher at Morongo. Also, they DON’T CARE ABOUT LOYALTY AS ALL. You could spend a MILLION DOLLARS last month, but if you don’t spend money next month — FORGET IT. They treat you like CRAP as if you never played at all. Sure Sure, they tell you that they go by the last 3 months of play — THAT’S CRAP. Stay away unless your ASIAN.

Have driven by the casino many times, finally decided earlier in the week to try the Seafood Buffett on Thursday (tonight!).
Here are some of the issues!
1. Read online that for the buffet a players card was needed. Stood in line for 10 minutes to get a card. Attendant explained what the card was good for (including the buffet and «free money play») and how to use it. She did not say that my date and I would BOTH need a card to get the discount at the buffet.
2. Arrived at the buffet line only to find after waiting another ten minutes there, that because my date didn’t have a card, we only got one buffet at the discounted price.
3. Food was decent… Crab Legs best part. Server ignored us for the most part especially when it came to drink refills. I have to say though, the busser Alejandro was awesome and kept our table (and the others in our section) clean and tidy! He was kind and attentive.
4. Decided to play the slots after dinner. Went to the Member Card Machine we were pointed to at the beginning of the night to collect my free first time visitor game play… Machine said I won $ 5… Went to go play… NOTHING! NO $$$
5. Sat at the slots for about two hours — my date was on a winning streak! However, NOT ONCE, NOT EVEN WHEN WE ASKED A MACHINE ATTENDANT for assistance in obtaining beverage service, did anyone come by offering drinks etc. My date wanted an adult beverage and I needed water… Nothing!
Overall — Slots were fun. Service gets a ZERO! I’ve been to a few casinos and this one by far was my least favorite!

This casino is really far from where I live first of all. Just to be fair I didn’t rent a room here thus visit but I did do rhe gambling stuff. From what I saw they only had blackjack tables and a couple of 3 hand poker. That’s just what I saw. I tried to play roulette but the tables were sort of small compared to other nearby casinos. I did like the fact that they seem to have a pretty decent ac system to move the cigarette smoke around.
I wish they had craps tables so I would of had more fun. I had a good time but I don’t see myself coming back unless somebody invites me. Do your research if you are looking to stay at the resort itself.

Chose valet park thinking it would be parked in the shade — nope — car was so hot when we got it back. But at least no hassle finding self-​park.
Stopped for the buffet, but only offering Seafood on Wednesday & Thursday. Good value after tax was $ 20.54 per person. No waiting today, we were seated quickly.
This rating is for the buffet:
1.carving station roast beef was extremely tough, cooked to beyond well-​done. Served with fresh or creamed horseradish, at least that was nice.
2. Hot soup: Cioppino was flavorful with large chunks of fish, shrimp, mussels. Also steamed mussels in white wine and garlic was good.
3. Salad bar offerings were all fresh, and included some canned items (corn, beets, beans) and those were very cold, I do like that there was bleu cheese crumbles apart from the creamy style dressing. If you’re strictly vegan you’ll be happy with the salad bar, also a few offerings of meat free lasagna, baked and roasted vegetables available.
4. Mongolian barbecue and also a soup station with noodles– pick your own combinations of noodles, meats, veggies, etc.
5. Dessert station offers great Ice cream (Schwann (?)) as a soft-​serve and sundae add-​ons (nuts, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, etc), pile it on or not, variety of fruit pies, assorted small dessert bites, including crème brûlée, cookies, brownies.

Wasn’t sure about this place at first. Confusing check in. Basically you HAVE to valet park in order to check in — which is nice — but being a first timer, we didn’t know the deal and drove around looking for a place to park in the boonies like morons.
Major complaint was in order to use one of the luggage carts, you have to have the bellman load it and take it to your room for you. Cool at first, but your luggage DOES NOT accompany you to your room. You must leave it for them to bring up 15 – 20 mins later. We definitely didn’t like that all of our stuff left our eyesight and was at the mercy of the hotel. We had to call for them to bring it up. Very unsettling.
Also…they ask if you have any alcohol in your bags! Outside drink is not allowed FYI. Wasn’t a problem for us but there was no mention of any of the above when we made our reservation.
The best parts of this hotel was the pool hands down! The lazy river was awesome and there are lots of lounges and cabanas to get some sun. We went in the beginning of the week during spring so it wasn’t crowded. Perfect!
Another good point was the bathroom and shower in the King rooms. Huge. Loved it. My husband hated the bed, too hard in his opinion. I agree it could use a pillow top but I slept alright in spite of it.
Overall, the experience was nice. Highly recommend Cielo Restaurant on the 27^th floor and Tacos and Tequila. Both great places to eat.

Honestly, these are things you want in a casino. Morongo is specifically fun for when you are coming back from Joshua Tree and are looking to shake off that seclusion. We lost $ 100 pretty quickly, but that wasn’t anyone’s fault but our own. A home away from Vegas, but could use another Roulette table (and no, digital Roulette doesn’t count).

If you’ve never been to a California casino, you may think this is the place for you. Especially with all the TV advertising that goes on. The ads do not give an accurate portrayal of what you’ll experience. Not even close! The tv commercials give only tight shots of its newest couple of amenities, making this place appear far better than it actually is. Driving onto the property youll be intrigued by the large hotel structure with all its glitsy lights and top hat. Once you get past that, youll wonder why so much emphasis was spared on the main entrance. Very dull and lacking in every way.
From the inside, it’s hard to figure out which is the main entrance as all entrances are devoid of any real magnificence.
You can’t get anywhere near the hotel and pool area unless you’re a hotel guest. Speaking of the hotel., its a little confusing. Check in at some random counter along the main walkway. Get your keys and keep walking, and walking, and walking until you finally figure out which turnoff to take. Approach the security guard and he’ll tell you where to go. After he checks to assure you have a room key and that you aren’t some common riff raff.
The casino building appears as though it’s been there for no less than 40 years. Dated décor, dirty walls and the smell of funk are what you get here my friends. Walkways are very wide and very hard on the feet. Bathrooms are dirty, humid and very cramped. Some mens room doors, back right onto women’s room doors. Coming out of the restroom, I opened the door and it hit a woman coming out of the womens restroom. Horribly laid out.
The casino has an odd smell mixed with a sort of pine-​sol smell. I noticed this each time I visited. It can be a bit nauseating. I attribute this to the numerous cleaning staff pushing their filthy work carts out in the open along the outer racetrack.
The buffet has some decent selections however, again, sub par for what they advertise on the tube. Food all over the floors, dirty tables and a dirty buffet line are the usual here. Should you visit on a weekend, expect unsupervised, ill mannered kids all over the buffet contributing to the horrible mess. Why people bring anyone under the age of 21 to a casino, is beyond me. I saw a TV commercial for a casino in San Diego county. they advertise that all guests must be over 21. I love it!
The machines never seem to pay. You will find this especially true on Sundays. If you’re searching for a bar, good luck! While they do have a bar, it’s one and off the beaten path. It doesn’t flow but instead, looks like a duty free shop at any1970 airport. Then there’s this hole cut high and long into a wall. Also along the main
walkway. It’s a bar service station with a guy, just standing there leering out the hole in the wall. Can I buy a drink here? Is this for the servers only? Quite confusing.
There may have been another bar however, it wasn’t well within eyeshot.
At the end of the day, what you have here is, a very dated casino building which is horribly laid out. Inconvenient restroom facilities, an 8′ wide racetrack which is hard on the feet encircling the outside of the gaming area. A gaming experience which rivals some of the poorest I’ve yet to experience and a food nonextravaganza bizarre.
My advice is to keep driving past the Morongo heading East towards Palm springs. Just twenty or so minutes, you’ll find no less than three, far better all inclusive venues. One off Bob hope Drive to the right and two on the opposite side of the freeway off at Dillon Rd. Each can be easily spotted right off Interstate 10. You’ll thank me for this advice. I promise!

I’m about to have lung cancer as soon as I walk out of here! This place reeks of smoke and if you are sensitive, you’ve been warned.
My eyes are irritated but I’m having fun just being here with the fam. Played a bit and now I’m sitting waiting. Sat at the Britney Spears slots. Sort of addicting but really fun.
Other than that Wednesday and Thur they have a $ 20 seafood lunch buffet, $ 25 for dinner!

My trip to Morongo was fantastic!!! The casino was so much fun! They had an awesome hotel + spa + gaming credit package for only $ 189
Loved my trip and wish I could go back NOW. I will definitely visit soon again.
They have an awesome atmosphere, friendly service and this relaxing get away from the city type of feeling.
The hotel resort is easily accesible from the casino so you can play all night and take an elevator and just crash in your super comfortable room
The room service was amazing! You can tell it’s a 5 star hotel with the quality. The french tri tip sandwhich and my burger was delicious. The fries were crispy and the condiments were so cute; they gave me mini bottles of ketchup.
However the food inside the actual casino was dissapointing at the noodle compnay, we do not recommend anyone eats there; the food tasted like rubber

I’ve been a few times, but never stayed because to me it’s the kind of the place you go to on the way to Palm Springs (and beyond) or back home, and the room prices don’t seem reasonable at all, considering anyone staying there is blowing bank, but anyway.
The last time I was here, we tried playing Bingo but that was a clusterf***. B15? Yeah, there b 15 reasons I wouldn’t play there, but anyway…
The time before that I went to audition for Wheel Of Fortune (the Wheelmobile), which was lame since they only choose, by lottery, a few dozen people out of a whole convention center full of people, some of which barely show the enthusiasm and very little intelligence required. It was a «F _​_​C K _​_​N G W A S T _​_​_​_​F T _​_​M _​_​» Can you solve. At least I found a $ 10 table and got up $ 45 in gas money before leaving.
This time, I played blackjack while my wife hung in the bar. The lowest minimum was $ 15 (which sucks as losing on a double down or split is $ 30), but after coming one hand from $ 0 three different times, I managed to leave $ 50 ahead.
So, yeah, though I prefer $ 5 – 10 tables, I left the tables ahead 2 for 2, so I’m cool. As for the casino itself, it’s just one big lame smoky circle, but what can you expect if you’re unable to drive 4 more hours to Vegas.

I’ve been here many years ago… not a casino type guy… but had to go for a work recognition event. Yes work, whoever set this up must be a gambleholic. The service was amazing, the last time I was here I don’t remember it being that way. Especially, the front desk people. The process was easy, I received a welcome letter with my name on it and a free 50 minute massage which I regret I was unable to use since everything was so jam packed in my scheduling. They also checked my golf clubs in, and gave me peace of mind and assurance that they are in good hands. For those who know me, my golf clubs are my babies! Wifi, valet, and a car wash down the street at the local gas station all complimentary with your stay. Conviently next to the Cabazon Outlet Mall.
Gambling at the tables is whack though (perhaps I’m saying that since I lost ha!), games such as roulette are much different then Vegas since its trademarked. Roulette is almost the same concept, but when the wheel stops they pull out a card… say what!!! Bhalsemy!!! No craps either which is my go to game. Dealers are pretty whack too, although nice… it’s as if all the Vegas dealer rejects got hired here. They don’t know their games well, and a few times underpaid players. Plus drinks aren’t complimentary.
Overall though Morongo was very accommodating, and bent backwards to ensure their guest are always happy. And it’s a pretty exciting drive from the OC to here dodging tumbleweed after tumbleweed…

Okay, I can’t judge too much of this place because I’ve never paid to gamble, I’ve never been to a show here, and I’ve never been to the hotel or spa.
But I have taken myself and friends here many times to get the free slot play. :) When you get a free member card (just line up where it says Rewards), you instantly get between $ 5-​$ 20 of free slot play. Most of the machines allow you to use this free play. I’ve had friends play on the machines, using NONE of their own money and only using the free slot play on their card, and they come out with anywhere from $ 1 to $ 20 — and they always have fun no matter what. It’s a great place to take your tourist friends to because of this. :)

If you’re employed by Morongo in any way on the reservation, there’s a cafeteria you can go to (past the security booth next to the buffet). Its $ 3 cash for a huge amount of food!

Quite the drive from oc but a whole lot better than rowdy San Manuel. While on the 60 and 10 freeway after miles of blank space, all of a sudden the Morongo building pops out like a beacon.
First things first, the valet guys are so super friendly! When I pulled up the valet guy was so personable and pleasant even though it was freezing. When I picked up my car the guys were still so friendly even though it was the wee hours in the early morning and even colder. They offered bottles of water and my car was retrieved quickly with the heater blasting inside.
Overall, the casino is very clean with all the amenities you would expect from an Indian casino including fine to casual dining, spa, a hotel, and endless slot machines. Place is clean and the crowd is tolerable. It’s a maze when you are inside. No doubt you will walk out smelling like an ash tray but it’s part of the territory when it comes to Indian casinos.

I was in the area so we decided to stop in and check this place out. It’s been a while since we live closer to Pechanga we hardly get out to Morongo.
Now I know why. First of all the place smells like cigarette smoke laced with a horrible perfume smell that just doesn’t leave your nose. It’s really nasty.
Second. The staff here is rude! I stopped to ask a few questions to some staff members and they were rude.
When we played a card game, the dealer Christina G. was extremely rude. She acted like we were bothering her and she didn’t want to do her job.
What a horrible horrible experience.
I’ve never stayed in the hotel but it does look nice. If they treat guests better than people who go in to gamble then maybe it’s worth it.
I will stick with Pechanga. It’s newer and nicer and staff is nigh more helpful.
