My desktop computer stopped working a couple of days after it was fixed. Fortunately it was still under warranty. I was told my computer stopped working because Norton(which I purchased years ago) was trying to work while Avast! which CCN installed on their own(even though I told them not to) was also trying to work. They said they would fix it. After I brought the computer back from its 2nd visit to Computer Consulting Networks it stopped working again. The bottom line is that my initial positive impression of Computer Consulting Networks is tarnished. They keep removing my Norton and Firefox and putting Avast!(which I do not want) and Google Chrome(which I do not care about) back on. I was going to have my laptop tuned by CCN, but I think now that may not be a wise decision. It is a shame because the people are pleasant, but either they do not listen, are incompetent, or they want to force unwanted software on the customer.

This is a business to avoid at all cost! The«owner» is hardly ever there and the service is a joke at best! After being told that they repair Macbooks, I paid them $ 55 upfront to diagnose my Mac. For the next 3 weeks I called repeatedly only to get the run-around. I feel bad for the girl at the counter. All she can do is call the owner and get back to you. After 3 weeks of no solid answers I blew up and told them that I was going to pick up the computer. When I arrived the girl told me that she was instructed to tell me that she could not release MY computer until I paid them another $ 55! That was the charge to «put it back together again». I am a small business owner and I’m a firm believer in patronizing other small independently owned and run businesses whenever I can, but this is a horribly-run, poor excuse for a business that is being operated by an absentee owner! Avoid them at all cost!
