History

Established in 1978.

a locally owned and operated business serving the community for over 35 years. Martin Sales and Service Inc. was born when it’s owner, Dave Martin, began repairing sewing machines and vacuums, as well as selling Hearthstone wood stoves out of his basement in 1978. Dave soon found that his clientele was growing so large that he needed more room than what his basement could provide. In 1980 he moved his flourishing business to a small 550 square foot building on North Main Street Extension in Butler. The move allowed for more space and greater presence in the community.
