History

Established in 1995.

Our company roots go back to the mid-​70s. By 1995 we specialized in super high quality high wind U.S. flags and flagpoles for commercial and residential applications. We realized early the Internet would make our products available worldwide. In 1995 we began designing and programming of our website. That was the very beginning of e-​commerce. By 1999 we had the first full function flag and flagpole website featuring over 24,000 products. We were still the only flag and flagpole website on September 11, 2001, the day the terrorists attacked. Since that terrible day many competitors have started websites but we are the leader in high-​quality American flags and flagpoles of any size. Our largest custom American flags will cover a football field. We currently serve close to 100,000 customers worldwide including the US Supreme Court, all five branches of the military, commercial buildings, government buildings, and homeowners. Business Owner

Thomas J D’Amico received a camera on his 12^th birthday. Fascinated with the ever-​changing beauty of the American flag blowing in the wind, he began making a series of photos. This lead to an interest in what made an American flag wear out. Also at an early age Thomas became interested in aviation. He realized the similarity between a flag blowing in the breeze compared to a wing flying through the air. Laminar flow is the key to high quality flags. Special fabrics, stitching patterns and sewing machine settings are now used to create the best flags available.
