I love my new HRV! I really appreciate there’s no haggling for pricing you don’t feel like you got ripped off. Jason B was super awesome and made the experience fun. The whole thing was way easier than I expected and everyone I dealt with was professional and accommodating.

DON’T waste your time with this dealership ! ! Called about 2009 A4 on a weekday, not busy, wanted to see it. They said I could come down in 1.5 hours. I asked why not just drive down now 30min away. NO, else it might be a 30min wait to see the car… He said — he would have the keys and info ready at the receptionist. Waited, drove down, found the car on the lot, looked OK. Went inside, greeted by a breaded salesman, talking to other sales poeple doing nothing. Told him I had been helped already on the phone. I walked around him to the receptionist (he seemed like a jerk). Told her my name and the car info. She had No Info on me or the car or keys, as I had been promised. I just had wanted to look and test drive it. now nothing. I said thank you anyway I started to leave. Mr. Beard, made a remark to me on the way out indicating he was glad to see me go.
What I waste of time. Will not go to a Walser dealership again this fall! I need to find a car not waste time. Don’t waste your time with Walser unless you have lots of time to waste.

I did some research in advance on a new Honda Civic to replace my aging VW Jetta and received an upfront quote via email for the Civic from Walser Honda. The email also mentioned there were several options available in many colors. I liked the idea of an upfront price and other options so I decided to schedule a test drive. My salesperson was Justin Hurm and he was fantastic from the beginning. He asked me a few questions as the test drive vehicle was being pulled up, took me on a tour of the dealership and pointed out a few important things about the car, and the test drive took us on multiple types of roads so I felt very confident that it was a good fit for me. Initially I had been planning to try the next model up but decided I was quite happy with the SE and Justin did not pressure me to try the other model or upsell anything I felt I didn’t need. He was there to answer all of my questions and guide me through the process, but I really appreciated the no-​pressure approach. The information was all there, but all decisions were left up to me. The same thing happened with the trade-​in offer for my VW. The store owner checked the KBB value and printed that out for us, and printed off a list of auction sales prices, then gave us a written offer for the VW and explained exactly how he arrived at the amount. Everything he said was in line with what we already knew and I felt that the price was definitely fair. Overall it was a hassle-​free experience, but more importantly, I felt like my best interests were kept in mind rather than anyone’s commission or car sales numbers. I will definitely recommend Walser Honda to friends and family :)

This is our 4^th vehicle purchased at Walser Honda. My 2001 Honda civic transmission died last Sept and I upgraded to a used Pontiac g6. Today we upgraded our 2014 Honda crv to a 2015 Honda crv. They offer a newer vehicle because they need used ones for their inventory. They waived oil change fee and you leave with a full tank of gas. Friendly and professional with paperwork. Free bottles of water and popcorn.

Great service! Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. I never felt pressured buying my car and also while bringing it for oil changes. Keep up the good work, guys!

Brought my mom’s almost new Honda in for a new battery, done reasonably quick and no charge. In the time I was waiting I took a walk thought the lot and saw two sales guys standing at the front door doing nothing. I asked one if I could see inside a certain car, not drive. Got the old come in with me, and figured okay they want your name and maybe an email or phone… Fine. Sat down and proceeded to be interrogated about my needs and plans… Basically didn’t want to show me the car. He could see I was gradually getting pissed off, offered to ‘start over.’ And I got up and walked away. Decided to refrain from giving the guy a piece of my mind. Very poor salesperson. Asking to see a car should then come with 30 questions.
I’d give zero stars to sales but giving two starts to be fair to a decent service department.

They suck. Asked for a loaner car cause my killer airbag parts to fix it won’t be in till they don’t know, Xmas maybe they said! My flipping daughter at 17 drives that car! It’s so dangerous the ATA is suggesting disabling them and Walser says, nope can’t do it. I’ve asked for an immediate call from their GM to fix this and get me a free loaner car!!! 100’s of injuries from this batch of airbags but the service guy said yeah but only 14 have died,…not that big of a problem etc. Jesus what if it was YOUR daughter you jerk! Fuming furious pissed unhappy angry and becoming quite litigious!!!

Just moved back from San Francisco needing a car desperately as I didn’t have a car due to family members crashing it. I immediately was greeted by Sierra she was awesome! Supa friendly and nice. Gave us a rundown of what Walser stands for. She proceeded to set us up with Ryan T. who was unbelievable & was really sweet! He asked what we were looking for and the range & price we were looking for color & accessories and nailed it on the head! Will recommend to friends and family. Super impressed with everything I was shown and test drove. A+ service !

Shady service department. Had recall work done on my Odyssey. Work was done, and at check out they told me my «coolant tube was starting to leak» and would I like them to fix that for $ 420. I declined, took it to my own mechanic who had just done routine maintenance on my coolant system. My mechanic rechecked my coolant system, found no leak, no pressure issues, no need for any kind of service. I wonder how many other poor trusting souls had unnecessary work done because it was «convienient» since the car was in the shop anyway? I highly recommend trying Heartland Goodyear in Burnsville off County Road 11/​County Road 42 behind Caribou. Extremely honest, excellent service. Whatever you do… don’t go here.

We had the great opportunity to work with Mark L. He was so very helpful and lead us to make the right decision. We were lead to believe from another dealer, that a brand new Odyssey was within our budget. We wanted to buy our next vehicle form Walser as I had done research about the Walser way and the lifetime power train warranty was a very nice bonus. When we found out we could not afford a new van, Mark scoured the lot and he found the PERFECT van for us. What it liked the most was how mark treated us when we discovered we could not afford a new van. We were a bit embarrassed as we came in confident that it was a done deal. Mark treated us with dignity, respect and went the extra mile to get us our new family vehicle. Thanks Walser but most importantly thanks Mark!

I went back to the dealership today to get a spare key made, splash guards put on, and free wipers. All were incentives that got throw in when I bought the car. After today, I’m completely over this idiot dealership and will never set foot in it again.
First I walk into the front desk, told them what I was here for, and they told me to go to parts. I go back to parts and they said no, you need to pull your car in and check in. Ok, thanks for wasting my time with that.
I pull up to garage door and wait a few minutes, door doesn’t open. Honda workers repeatedly walk by and just stare. I stop one of them and ask them to open the door. Then they say «oh its automatic, you just have to pull up really close to it. Thanks a lot to all the employees who just seen me sitting there and failed to tell me. And also thanks for not putting up any signs letting us know to do so.
I check in and was told it would take 1.5 hours to do. Really, 1.5 hours for that? I work on cars and have cut/​programmed keys before. It would have taken me about 45 minutes tops to get all that done. With all the workers they have there, 1.5 hours is way too long.
Then they tell me they don’t have any wipers for my car and that they have to be special ordered. REALLY?! I ask why and then he brought me to my car and tried explaining these «special wipers» that have to custom ordered. I’m not an idiot man, I know all wipers are the same. By this point, I was so pissed off at how incompetent they were I just said screw it and left.
Oh and I stopped by Pepboys on the way home and guess what, bought some regular wiper blades that fit just fine. You know, the same regular ones you had in stock.
Ahhhhh!
Oh and PS to Mr. Business Owner who replied to my last review. You MISSPELLED my name! That’s a great start to remedy a customer’s problems.

If I could have given this place a 0 I would have. They don’t negotiate, so make sure you blue book before you go. Or while you are there on your phone. Every car will be sold for at least a grand over value, and they won’t talk down. They will also then turn around and harass you about how you are «wrong.» Worst experience at a car dealership. They also lied to me on at least three different occasions. One worker may even call you back after you and tell you anecdotes about how they pay more for used cars than they are worth. Shady. I will never go back,

The Chrysler finally died. It was a good car considering its eighteen years and I vow to never listen to anyones advice on maintaining another car I own.
That bit of drama now passed, I needed a car. My first stop was Walser Honda. I had in mind I wanted an import but surely wasnt set on one and there are plenty of car dealers in town.
So at this dealership, salesperson Amanda was a real trooper, even when I told her this was only my first stop on hopefully a productive search. It actually was! But maybe everyone tells auto dealers that to get them to bug off. Nevertheless, she broke me down to testing a couple of cars and even took me over to the Nissan dealer nearby to try one of the comparable cars there (features and price, Accord v Altima). Well sure, Walser owns that Nissan dealership too, but it was impressive that she would go through the trouble as well as keeping in mind what the competition had to offer.
Okay. I didn’t buy a car, that day. I did do some online research though and found Walser was more competive than other Honda dealers and then I did drive through other dealers lots to check out what they had. They didn’t size up in value.
Blah, blah; etc and so on, I did buy a car from Walser Honda. It was from Jesse, a salesperson on Amanda’s team so I didn’t feel bad about her not getting the sale directly. He was great, even impressing my wife. His experience with the mechanical side of cars was definitely helpful. In closing the deal, everything went smooth and so far so good.

We had a very good sales experience with Josh from Walser Subaru. He recommended we drive over and compare the outback with the CRV, and we ended up going with the Honda CRV over the outback.
My major gripe with Walser Honda was we bought the rubber winter mats, and were told we’d have to come back since they weren’t in stock to have them installed which is fine. But when I returned the sales person who was on the floor just handed me my mats with no hint that they would take the 2 minutes to install them. I thought it was off putting, and we put them in ourselves.

We just bought a minivan from Walser Honda. We have purchased used cars before, but never through a dealership and never a mini van. So we shopped around pretty hard core. Blake at Walser was so nice and accomidating. There was no pressure to buy, and he was great working around our 3 little kids as we shopped.
We left the dealership finding a car we liked, but didn’t love. And we didn’t purchase it. Blake knew we were dedicated to buying a car fast, so he called us the moment another van pulled into their lot. He knew our preferences and found us the perfect van! We came down and test drove it before it was even cleaned and purchased the next day.
The Walser team made the purchase easy (we used a loan from a credit union which had a much lower interest rate than the dealership) and had the car cleaned, put new tires on, and even gas in the tank. They paid us a fair price for our clunker trade-​in and we drove off the lot happy campers.
So we highly recommend Blake and the sales team at Walser Honda!

My car buying experience at Walser started out great. We were able to go online and choose the cars we were interested in so we knew two vehicles we wanted to test drive when we first showed up. Jesse R was a friendly, knowledgeable salesman. It was when Jesse turned us over to Mike in financing that things took a turn for the worst. As soon as it became clear to Mike that we considering financing the car through our insurance company and not through Walser, his demeanor and the whole tone of our conversations changed. I appreciated Mike trying to do whatever he could to get us a good deal with Walser’s financing but he seemed genuinely angry by the fact that we were even considering another financing option. We left the first day with a bad taste in our mouths but we really liked the car so we wanted to move forward with the purchase. That was a Saturday. On Sunday we applied for a loan through our insurance company and were not surprised to find that they were offering us a better rate and their extended warranty program was head and shoulders over what Walser offers. I called on Monday morning to let Jesse know we secured financing through our insurance company and that we were going to come buy the car that night. Instead of congratulating us and setting up a time to pick up the car, Jesse and Mike both tried to talk me out of going with my insurance company and getting our financing through Walser. Now, I realize the dealership makes a lot of money off of those financing deals, but I was made to feel as though my spending more than $ 19,000 on a vehicle didn’t even matter to Walser if I wasn’t going to get my financing through them. This is the first vehicle my husband and I have ever purchased and it was a very big deal to us. We did not feel appreciated as customers by Mike or the other woman in financing (don’t remember her name) who helped us the day we came in to make the purchase. We felt like we were a bother to them. The only bright spot in our experience was the salesman Larry who helped us on the day we came to buy the car. He was very friendly. Overall I was extremely disappointed by the customer service I received from this dealership and will not be returning for any future purchases.

FOREWORD REGARDING ALL CAR DEALERSHIPS:
Before i start this review i would like to note that you should never ever trust anything a car dealer tells you. The onus is on you, the consumer, to be informed. The sales reps at these dealerships only care about one thing, that is selling you a car. If you ever find yourself wandering a car dealership, talking to a completely honest sales rep; you are not at a car dealership but are in fact dead and have been banished to hell, which considering the honest sales rep has frozen many times over.
So Walser Honda, what word could i best use to describe them? Shady? Dishonest? Lacking respectability? I guess they’d all fit considering the way i was treated.
I went there to look at a vehicle one afternoon because it was out by my physical rehab center. I called right before i went there and asked about the vehicle i was coming to check out. I was told someone had placed a 24 hour hold on it the day before but that hold had just expired so they would be more than happy for me to come take a look at it. So i went and test drove the vehicle and liked what i saw but told the dealer i’d need to take the vehicle into my mechanic tommorow morning before i bought it. The salesman agreed and told me they’d put it on a 24 hours hold for me. This wasn’t before the salesman took me for an idiot and tried to talk me into purchasing the vehicle on the spot and convince me no check up was needed. So i left and the salesman had told me i could call back later and give him my checking information to put down a $ 500 deposit for the 24 hour hold but he’d put it on one in the mean time.
When i called back later, the salesman went to go charge me the $ 500, but instead of doing so he came back to the phone and had explained that the previous customer had called back his manager earlier and was pissed off they hadn’t given him more time and decided to let me test drive the car and put a hold on it. Too bad so sad, right? Next time get your crap in order, right? Wrong! I was told now that they would refuse to let me take this car into my mechanic because the manager had agreed to give this other guy ANOTHER 24 hour hold AFTER they had given it to me. He told me though, «If you want to just come down and buy the vehicle now though, we’ll let you do that.» Once again, i’m treated like an idiot.
The saleman told me if the guy hadn’t picked it up by tommorow afternoon when his second 24 hour period, i could pick it up and bring it to my mechanic. So, i rescheduled my appointment with my mechanic and the next afternoon i got call from the salesman. He tells me the guy’s 24 hour period expired and i could still come purchase the car, but «the manager had just made a special rule» for the car and he wasn’t going to let anyone take it off the lot unless they bought it.
Why were these idiots doing so much and wasting my time and making me look like an idiot with my mechanic? Why were they going so far to not have this car checked out? It’s obvious, they wanted to sell me a broken POS. Too bad for the stooges at Walser Honda you can’t outfox a fox. Nice try morons, but no cigar.
Stay away from this place unless you are extremely well informed on what you are buying. A matter of fact, stay away from all dealerships unless you are extremely well informed. Their salesman won’t blink at taking advantage of you, and they actually prefer that be the way they make the sale because it means they really scored big. When we were driving the vehicle i knew more about it then the salesman who took me for an idiot. That tells you how stupid they are, they don’t even realize when they need to switch gears (pun intended) because they are dealing with a well informed consumer.

I made an appointment at the Buck Hill location by phone to bring my car in for regular service work and was told I could come in at 6pm and that they would get me right in. This was about 30 mins on the same day and I was pleased they could accommodate me with such short notice. Yeah. Right.
When I got there, they told me it would be a 2 HOUR wait! Strike one. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I made another appointment for the following day in the afternoon. I get there on time, they took the car. So far so good. All done in an hour. I get home, I look through the paperwork before filing it and suddenly realized they gave me SOMEONE ELSE’s paperwork!!! In all my years of owning a car, I have never been given the wrong servicing paperwork! Call me crazy but how can this even happen? Strike 2.
I call the service center the following day and spoke to a manager. The guy was apologetic but did NOTHING to try to compensate me for my time and trouble. You could have offered me a free servicing, heck even a free car wash! I wanted a sincere effort to try to win my business but nothing. Strike 3.
Walser Honda, I am never doing business with you. NEVER EVER buying a vehicle from you nor recommending you for anything. You an’t even get basic appointment setting and paperwork right! I will not wait for you to make a dangerous mistake on my car for me to learn my lesson. A complete waste of time and effort.

I bought three Hondas there when it was Burnsville Honda. I had all my service work there and was always satisfied.
A year ago it became part of the Walser chain. After dropping a few hundred bucks on a major tune up the Walser people tried to charge me $ 70 to change two light bulbs. I don’t think so!
They lost a faithful customer, the sale of a new car, and my good will. For an attempt to pull $ 70 out of me on top the $ 350+ tune up.
