Robert’s fifteen plus years of experience working with dogs provides him the creative and expert knowledge to resolve any unwanted behaviors. He has a specialized ability to rehabilitate dogs with dominance related aggression issues through customized in-​home programs. Robert utilizes a positive and hands on style with the owner, so they learn by doing as they rehab their dog through step by step instruction by Robert during sessions while explaining the behavioral escalation then how and when to reward or disagree. Robert empowers owners by simplifying and explaining the detail of what the obvious or subtle gestures mean. Owners learn to fully understand the psychology of an aggressive reaction, being a dog whisperer them selves as THEY achieve rehabilitation and get the loyal dog they wanted while the dog gets the leader it needs.

History

Established in 2007.

I have worked with dogs for well over fifteen years now. My dad trained using the same ideals I do now in a variety of arenas such as: hunting, obedience, behavior, field conformation amoung others. He got me hooked early to train dogs. He taught me that you get a good dog by fulfilling the primal need to have that confident boss, then, let him be a dog. DNA wins. I started to work with different training styles over time but always fell back to what my dad did, I started observing dog interactions, their intent, adeveloping a higher sense of things. Soon, my parents pushed me to just do it, since I was good at it and volunteering at shelters to train. Then I enrolled in Animal Behavior College getting Certified in Canine Behavior. I started my first small co. in 07, then another in 09, the partnership deteriorated in time. I have learned to just let dogs teach me, doing so made understand the psychology of a reactions and to hear the convo. I realized dogs know dogs best, just listen

Robert Cole founded The Dog Whisperer of MN on the belief that all owners posses the ablility to be a confident and effective leader to give direction and guidance dealing in any situation. Robert’s mission is to motivate and empower owners to become great «pack leaders». Teaching to simplify the event, look at it from a psychological angle like a conversation and to utilize their dog’s natural instinct to be a follower and through positive methods. This is something that Robert also practices everyday. This philosophy has been proven effective time and time again by his success with dogs having the most extreme behavioral issues

with amazing success. This is what drives owner Robert Cole to learn more and push to educate generations of dog owners the importance of this simple rule to achieve balance with their dog.
